When choosing a finish for your patio, we highly recommend Pebble Tec. It is what we use when finishing all of our pools. Fortunately, there are many different color options that will look great with bluestone patio. When considering your finish, the more important decision may be the color of your tile and how it coordinates with your pool finish. That being said, two of our favorite colors to use with bluestone that are light and inviting are Pebble Tec's "Creme de Menthe" and "Blue Lagoon"

We had Pebble Tec's Pebble Sheen in our last pool and we liked it. Pebble Tec is very uncomfortable after a short while in the pool because the finish can scrape your toes and snag bathing suits. Pebble Sheen is smoother than Pebble Tec but has the same look and is not so harsh on your feet. In our current pool we went with Wet Edge Primera Stone and we love it. It has the smoothness of plaster and the look of pebble and also has glass and abalone in it which really sparkles. Both brands come in a variety of finishes which would compliment bluestone nicely.
