What is the material that was used on the counter top in this lovely bath?

    Hello Jenny Nettles, Thanks for your inquiry. The top on that vanity is Carrara Marble. If you are interested in using carrara, make sure that you make the effort to go look at the slabs in person. Carrara has been quarried for a long time and there is a large range on the quality of the stone. Much of it now is very gray. The body of the stone in this photo is fairly white in the body of the stone with pale gray veins. The most beautiful carrara has very a very white body with dark almost black veins that are well defined.

    Thank you! And thanks for the advice. I am staying away from Marble for upkeep sake and was hoping this was a quartz. It's lovely!
