Janie Lowrie is the mind behind CLOSET THEORY, blending her business acumen with a lifelong passion for design. Prior to CLOSET THEORY, Janie spearheaded a trend setting closet design firm in Los Angeles, CA, where she created closet and living spaces for notable celebrity clients. Janie was amazing. She delivered the best design out of the many companies I met with and at the most reasonable cost. Her team of fabricators and installers were professional and did exceptional work. I can't wait to work with her again!

Closet Theory is who we hired for our most precious house project. We are so glad we did - it is our favorite part of our house. They took what was a plain sliding mirror door closet and turned it into a beautiful custom designed wall unit that took our bedroom from regular to what we now call the “spa” overnight. We are now working on our 2nd project with them and I am delighted.

I have just completed a major renovation to my house. In the process,I got to build a large closet, which was great, but I wanted it to be very organized and multi-purpose. I found Janie on Houzz professional's and contacted her by email. She is in California and I'm in Georgia. Everything was done by email and phone calls. It was the absolute best thing I did during the remodel. She was very personable, professional, and organized. She gave us several different options ..... we tweaked them, and she worked with us until we were satisfied and then emailed the blueprints for my cabinetmaker. We are so happy with our closet!! Everyone that sees it just says WOW, you have space for everything and it is so beautiful. I can't thank Janie enough... she made our remodel a success and was the fastest most efficient person through the whole process.

It has been a pleasure working with Janie on several closet projects for our new home. Not only is she professional, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with, Janie also understands the customer's needs. My husband and I are very pleased with her work so far, and we would highly recommend Janie to anyone.

Janie helped me redesign our TV room. It was a rather large room, approximately ...., and we wanted it to be comfortable as well as beautiful. She did an excellent job, from helping us pick out color schemes, proportions of furniture and large built in caninetry to house an 80 inch tv, styles, draperies and carpet, as well as coordinating lighting for the room and cabinetry. When there was a problem with the carpet, she advocated on our behalf and got us new carpet. Janie has an excellent sense of style, color and proportion but will listen to what we wanted. We would highly recommend her for closets as well as re designing interiors.

Janie is a gem! She is detailed orientated, resourceful, and creative. She started out doing closet design for our two master closets and we loved the outcome so much she helped us furnish and several other rooms in our home including the nursery, all drapery, office, playroom, outdoor spaces, etc. She's a professional to work with: communicates well and promptly, has great ideas, and really puts in the extra leg work to find the perfect pieces. We are extremely happy with the results.

Janie with Closet Theory designed both mine and my husband's closets. She included every single thing we asked for and more. She was prompt, professional, on budget and simply a pleasure to work with. This was all done remotely and the measurements she came up with by using the architect drawings worked perfectly for our builder. Highly recommend.

We hired Closet Theory to do my master bedroom closet, my husband's closet and my daughter's closet. We met with a few other closet design companies in Los Angeles and ultimately chose this firm because we would have more attention and time than some of the other firms . Janie Lowrie is incredibly organized, creative and professional. She put forth an amazing design presentation that was tailored to our specific wardrobe needs. Next, Janie coordinated the cabinet bid process for our closets. During the execution, she oversaw all of the construction, color selection and other design elements. She was always available whether through email or text with a quick follow up. Closet Theory is the best!

Closet Theory is thorough, professional, fun and efficient. They made our office look FANTASTIC and we were so happy with their work. They organized and streamlined all of our supplies and made the kitchen much more user friendly. We would love for them to come back and help us out some more!

I have known Janie both personally and professionally. When I needed a consult on a very tiny closet being shared by my 13 and 10 year-old daughters, she was the first person I thought of. She is organized and precise, two things my daughters and myself are not! Janie came through on a design that was not only perfect for my daughters, but one that also fit into my budget, which incidentally was smaller than my closet. Her ideas are all things I can do myself and I can get the girls involved as well. Thank you Janie for listening to my needs and providing a realistic plan that even I can follow. On our way to both and organized and stylish life!

Kommenterade: depth of shelves18" is a great depth for folded items, yes! If decreasing the cabinet depth to 18", to open up the walkway, I would definitely do that.
