Feedback needed on my reno design

Hi

We would appreciate some comment on our house renovation, bottom photo shows the current design, its on a 8,000m2 fairly bland section, (we have landscaping to do also) North is up on both design, rural setting in the waikato on NZ.

We have used a draftsman to draw up the proposed design which we like but want to make sure were not missing anything, we have 3 kids under 6 with another coming soon, so this needs to be the ultimate family house, budget of about $275,000 to $325,000

Any help would be greatly awesome

    Hi Matt, I think the yourselves and the Drafty have done a sterling job on this re-design and used the spaces to their full extent. My only concern would be that the entrance has been traded for the new bedroom and so guests etc would be walking in to the garage - which is open to the rest of the house. Maybe take a little look at how to re-engage that experience of entering such a wonderful home.
