Green Mountain BuildersThis transitional-inspired remodel to this lovely Bonita Bay home consists of a completely transformed kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen was redesigned for better functionality, better flow and is now more open to the adjacent rooms. The original kitchen design was very outdated, with natural wood color cabinets, corian countertops, white appliances, a very small island and peninsula, which closed off the kitchen with only one way in and out. The new kitchen features a massive island with seating for six, gorgeous quartz countertops, all new upgraded stainless steel appliances, magnificent white cabinets, including a glass front display cabinet and pantry. The two-toned cabinetry consists of white permitter cabinets, while the island boasts beautiful blue cabinetry. The blue cabinetry is also featured in the bathroom. The bathroom is quite special. Colorful wallpaper sets the tone with a wonderful decorative pattern. The blue cabinets contrasted with the white quartz counters, and gold finishes are truly lovely. New flooring was installed throughout.

Background/description: The house was built in 1908, my clients are only the 3rd owners of the house. The prior owner lived there from 1940s until she died at age of 98! The old home had loads of character and charm but was in pretty bad condition and desperately needed updates. The clients purchased the home a few years ago and did some work before they moved in (roof, HVAC, electrical) but decided to live in the house for a 6 months or so before embarking on the next renovation phase. I had worked with the clients previously on the wife's office space and a few projects in a previous home including the nursery design for their first child so they reached out when they were ready to start thinking about the interior renovations. The goal was to respect and enhance the historic architecture of the home but make the spaces more functional for this couple with two small kids. Clients were open to color and some more bold/unexpected design choices. The design style is updated traditional with some eclectic elements. An early design decision was to incorporate a dark colored french range which would be the focal point of the kitchen and to do dark high gloss lacquered cabinets in the adjacent coffee bar, and we ultimately went with dark green.

THE INNER HOUSEAPARTMENT BERLIN VII
Eine Berliner Altbauwohnung im vollkommen neuen Gewand: Bei diesen Räumen in Schöneberg zeichnete THE INNER HOUSE für eine komplette Sanierung verantwortlich. Dazu gehörte auch, den Grundriss zu ändern: Die Küche hat ihren Platz nun als Ort für Gemeinsamkeit im ehemaligen Berliner Zimmer. Dafür gibt es ein ruhiges Schlafzimmer in den hinteren Räumen. Das Gästezimmer verfügt jetzt zudem über ein eigenes Gästebad im britischen Stil. Bei der Sanierung achtete THE INNER HOUSE darauf, stilvolle und originale Details wie Doppelkastenfenster, Türen und Beschläge sowie das Parkett zu erhalten und aufzuarbeiten. Darüber hinaus bringt ein stimmiges Farbkonzept die bereits vorhandenen Vintagestücke nun angemessen zum Strahlen.

Signature Designs Kitchen | Bath | InteriorsWe took a dated bathroom that you had to walk through the shower to get to the outdoors, covered in cream polished marble and gave it a completely new look. The function of this bathroom is outstanding from the large shower with dual heads to the extensive vanity with a sitting area for the misses to put on her makeup. We even hid a hamper in the pullout linen tower. Easy maintenance with porcelian tiles in the shower and a beautiful tile accent featured at the tub.

D&G ConstructionA beautiful modern bathroom with a recessed panel vanity set with stone gray coloring and a black metallic faucet. The counter is a white quartz countertop with a large square mirror and light fixture hug above. The flooring is a brick laid white tile. The walls are white with medium white trim. The bathtub is a free standing square tub with a black metallic faucet. This alcove styled shower is surround by a snow white, textured tile on three sides and a glass hinged door on one side. The shower head and knobs as well as the glass door handle and track are a metallic black color. On one side there is a white quartz shower bench. Inside of the shower niche is a beautiful combination of brick laid gray splashed tiles. The flooring in the shower is composed of gray, matte chalkboard, small tiles.
APK Designs LLCA compete renovation for this master bath included replacing all the fixtures, vanity, floor tile and adding a ledge along the tub, as well as commercial-grade wall covering on the vanity wall.

TVL Creative Ltd.Our client’s charming cottage was no longer meeting the needs of their family. We needed to give them more space but not lose the quaint characteristics that make this little historic home so unique. So we didn’t go up, and we didn’t go wide, instead we took this master suite addition straight out into the backyard and maintained 100% of the original historic façade.
Master Suite
This master suite is truly a private retreat. We were able to create a variety of zones in this suite to allow room for a good night’s sleep, reading by a roaring fire, or catching up on correspondence. The fireplace became the real focal point in this suite. Wrapped in herringbone whitewashed wood planks and accented with a dark stone hearth and wood mantle, we can’t take our eyes off this beauty. With its own private deck and access to the backyard, there is really no reason to ever leave this little sanctuary.
Master Bathroom
The master bathroom meets all the homeowner’s modern needs but has plenty of cozy accents that make it feel right at home in the rest of the space. A natural wood vanity with a mixture of brass and bronze metals gives us the right amount of warmth, and contrasts beautifully with the off-white floor tile and its vintage hex shape. Now the shower is where we had a little fun, we introduced the soft matte blue/green tile with satin brass accents, and solid quartz floor (do you see those veins?!). And the commode room is where we had a lot fun, the leopard print wallpaper gives us all lux vibes (rawr!) and pairs just perfectly with the hex floor tile and vintage door hardware.
Hall Bathroom
We wanted the hall bathroom to drip with vintage charm as well but opted to play with a simpler color palette in this space. We utilized black and white tile with fun patterns (like the little boarder on the floor) and kept this room feeling crisp and bright.
Fireclay TileCreate a classic color palette in your bathroom design by using a white herringbone tile in the shower and black hexagon tile on the floor.

12/12 Architects & PlannersThe master bath is a true oasis, with white marble on the floor, countertop and backsplash, in period-appropriate subway and basket-weave patterns. Wall and floor-mounted chrome fixtures at the sink, tub and shower provide vintage charm and contemporary function. Chrome accents are also found in the light fixtures, cabinet hardware and accessories. The heated towel bars and make-up area with lit mirror provide added luxury. Access to the master closet is through the wood 5-panel pocket door.
Mountainwood HomesZ Collection Candy ceramic tile in ‘Ocean’ is used for the lower half of the walk-in shower and the upper is from Daltile Miramo Fan Mosaic in ‘Aqua’.
Muse ResidentialIn this farmhouse inspired bathroom there are four different patterns in just this one shot. The key to it all working is color! Using the same colors in all four, makes this bath look cohesive and fun, without being too busy. The gold in the accent tile ties in with the gold in the wallpaper, and the white ties all four together. By keeping a neutral gray on the wall and vanity, the eye has time to rest making this bath a real stunner!
