Wine Cellar SpecialistsThis handsome custom wine cellar door Louisiana was crafted from Knotty Alder wood, which is an exceptionally beautiful and durable material.
Wine cellar doors are key in maintaining the ideal temperature and humidity in a wine cellar room. We equipped it with sealing components to ensure that it won't allow the cool air from escaping the cellar and the wamrm air from entering.
The door has an elegant design, with an Old World appearance. The distinct 'Knotty' grain of the wood is brought out wonderfully by the Early American stain.

Hammer & HandHammer & Hand transformed an ordinary garage in Southeast Portland into an energy-efficient, sustainably-built art studio and living space in this Accessory Dwelling Unit conversion designed by Departure Design. A custom sliding door assembly provides a cost-effective and water-tight solution for creating living space while maintaining future garage function, if desired. The small-but-spacious garage conversion also features a sleeping loft with ballusters built from wine barrel staves for the wine enthusiast owners.

O’Hara InteriorsThis lower-level wine cellar was designed to capture the essence of an old-world Raskellar, with all the amenities of today's technology. From the locally reclaimed brick floor to the carvernous architecture and rustic furnishings, this space feels like a different place & time. The cleverly designed wine storage behind finger-print activated security panels, makes it the ultimate cellar for a connoisseur.
2011 ASID Award Winning Design
This 10,000 square foot home was built for a family who prized entertaining and wine, and who wanted a home that would serve them for the rest of their lives. Our goal was to build and furnish a European-inspired home that feels like ‘home,’ accommodates parties with over one hundred guests, and suits the homeowners throughout their lives.
We used a variety of stones, millwork, wallpaper, and faux finishes to compliment the large spaces & natural light. We chose furnishings that emphasize clean lines and a traditional style. Throughout the furnishings, we opted for rich finishes & fabrics for a formal appeal. The homes antiqued chandeliers & light-fixtures, along with the repeating hues of red & navy offer a formal tradition.
Of the utmost importance was that we create spaces for the homeowners lifestyle: wine & art collecting, entertaining, fitness room & sauna. We placed fine art at sight-lines & points of interest throughout the home, and we create rooms dedicated to the homeowners other interests.

The area is filled with a combination of individual bottle racking, display racks, storage cubes, work surfaces and storage areas, all of which are made from solid pine. The under stairs wine storage area can store over 180 bottles.

Made from solid pine, includes case racks, cellar cubes, individual bottle storage, display bottle storage, shelving, plinth and finished with LED lighting.

Southern LandscapeThis Texas Ranch House and vineyard demanded a custom wine cellar and tasting room. Built into the hillside below the main house, the cellar features storage for over 1000 bottles, a small tasting room with hand-painted vineyard mural, and solid stone walls and archways. The flagstone flooring is offset by mesquite ceilings and countertops and custom cabinets of reclaimed wood. Southern Landscape completed all of the stonework for the wine cellar.
