This distinct project showcases a masterful blend of interior styles, transitioning from the soft, romantic elegance of a vintage-inspired master suite to the rugged, masculine energy of an industrial Brooklyn style home office and gym. Each space is uniquely tailored with rich textures, bold patterns, and carefully curated bespoke details to serve its specific function while telling a cohesive story of quality and character. The Botanical Bedroom The bedroom is a masterclass in classic English country elegance, designed to be a serene, nature-inspired retreat. Feature Walls: A striking floor-to-ceiling botanical mural anchors the space, complemented by textured green wallpaper that echoes the natural landscape. Elegant Furnishings: A cream-upholstered bed with curved edges and dark wood trim takes center stage, paired with an antique style dark wood dresser and a matching vanity desk featuring elegant cabriole legs. Soft Ambient Lighting: A classic brass chandelier and traditional table lamps with pleated shades cast a warm, inviting glow, enhancing the room's cosy, timeless atmosphere. The Bold En-Suite Bathroom Connected to the bedroom, this en-suite offers a dramatic and luxurious contrast with bold geometric patterns and vintage inspired hardware. Striking Tile work: High-contrast, black-and-white marble tiles are arranged in a classic checkerboard pattern on the walls, creating an unforgettable, graphic backdrop. Vintage Hardware: Antique brass crosshead taps, shower controls, and traditional wall sconces with fluted glass shades bring a touch of historic, lived-in charm. Sophisticated Details: An arched, black-framed mirror and a sleek dark vanity ground the space, while vertical glazed subway tiles in the shower enclosure add a subtle wash of colour and glossy texture. The Industrial Office & Gym A complete departure from the suite, this dynamic dual-purpose room balances a focused workspace with a private, highly stylised fitness area. Architectural Elements: A contemporary open-tread staircase with steel stringers sets a modern industrial tone, paired perfectly with dark, richly grained herringbone wood flooring and textured plaster-effect walls: micro-cement technique and material. Vintage Leather & Steel: The space is heavily accented with warm, aged leather pieces including an executive desk chair, an inviting lounge chair, and a classic heavy punching bag. Functional Design: An open metal-and-wood industrial shelving unit acts as a clever, permeable room divider, seamlessly separating the rustic wooden desk area from the gym zone, which comes complete with wooden stall bars and dedicated workout mats. The Result: A highly personalised home that boldly celebrates contrasting design aesthetics, delivering both restful, classic elegance and inspiring, industrial functionality.

Le projet Lafayette est un projet extraordinaire. Un Loft, en plein coeur de Paris, aux accents industriels qui baigne dans la lumière grâce à son immense verrière. Nous avons opéré une rénovation partielle pour ce magnifique loft de 200m2. La raison ? Il fallait rénover les pièces de vie et les chambres en priorité pour permettre à nos clients de s’installer au plus vite. C’est pour quoi la rénovation sera complétée dans un second temps avec le changement des salles de bain. Côté esthétique, nos clients souhaitaient préserver l’originalité et l’authenticité de ce loft tout en le remettant au goût du jour. L’exemple le plus probant concernant cette dualité est sans aucun doute la cuisine. D’un côté, on retrouve un côté moderne et neuf avec les caissons et les façades signés Ikea ainsi que le plan de travail sur-mesure en verre laqué blanc. D’un autre, on perçoit un côté authentique avec les carreaux de ciment sur-mesure au sol de Mosaïc del Sur ; ou encore avec ce bar en bois noir qui siège entre la cuisine et la salle à manger. Il s’agit d’un meuble chiné par nos clients que nous avons intégré au projet pour augmenter le côté authentique de l’intérieur. A noter que la grandeur de l’espace a été un véritable challenge technique pour nos équipes. Elles ont du échafauder sur plusieurs mètres pour appliquer les peintures sur les murs. Ces dernières viennent de Farrow & Ball et ont fait l’objet de recommandations spéciales d’une coloriste.

A small passageway leads into the guest suite also cleverly acting as the client’s home office. The bedroom was certainly generous in size but to provide a large desk area as well? The No Chintz solution was to tuck a luxury Queen size murphy bed behind a beautifully panelled wall. Viola! Space to build in a streamlined desk/shelving unit, but easily cleared and the bed pulled down from the wall when friends come to stay. The study/guest room is a pleasure: the client was sure she didn’t want a stuffy, ‘Serious’ space. Instead, the brief was to infuse it with colour and patterns.
