The Tuscan style wine cellar door matched the theme of the home. It has a wrought iron grill designed by the client. It was finished with a rustic stain. The total capacity of the wine cellar is 514 bottles. We constructed the California wine cellar racks from Alder wood and applied it with a Rustic stain. The design consists of diamond bins, a high reveal display row, single storage racks, and case storage bins. We placed an extended ledge in front of the racking to serve as a modified tabletop. It provides an additional space for storing and serving wine. This wine cellar was decked out with highly durable, moisture-resistant premium redwood custom wine racking CA. The racks were left unfinished, to preserve their natural hue and grain and allow them to age beautifully over time. As you can see, quarter round displays were included for special bottles and accessories. They were situated adjacent to diamond bins, which were utilized for maximum storage. Above the diamond bins is a display row for six bottles. At the top section are openings for storing standard bottles individually. The cooling unit was hidden in a wooden grill cover. An exterior grade door was installed, room insulated and vapour barriered, cooling unit installed through the wall and then racking put in to house bottles. This was a much preferable option for storing wine than using a typical off-the-shelf built-in wine fridge. Är du intresserad av vin kanske du också blivit intresserad av att lagra vin, eller så vill du kanske bara ha ett rum som vinförvaring. Att bygga en klassisk vinkällare och vinstställ är dock inte nödvändigtvis helt enkelt, och vi har därför skrivit ner några rader som kan vara bra att ha med sig när du ska bygga en vintage vinkällare hemma. Vilken temperatur ska jag ha i min vinkällare?

Många vinexperter är överens om att den ideala temperaturen i en vinkällare är 12-14 grader, då utvecklas vinet i en bra takt. Vid svalare temperatur går det långsammare och vid varmare går det fortare. Försök att minimera temperaturvariationerna i din vinkällare under dygnet så gott det går. När det kommer till luftfuktighet är 70 % lagom. Högre luftfuktighet gör egentligen inget för viner, men etiketten kan ta skada. Glöm inte att se till så att rummet är mörkt, framförallt om du ska lagra rödvin. Vin lagras i mörka vinflaskor eftersom ljus påverkar smak och färg på vinet, så se till att rummet också är mörkt!

Hur ska jag tänka när det kommer till inredning av min klassiska vinkällare?

En viktig sak att tänka på när du bygger vinkällare är att skapa en omgivning som är tyst och vibrationsfri, då detta är faktorer som kan påverka vinets mognadsfällningar och göra det grumligt.

Kan jag bygga en vinkällare själv?

Är du händig säger vi kör; bygg din egen vinkällare! Du kan spara en hel del pengar på det. Nyckeln är i mångt och mycket att lyckas bygga ett rum som klarar fukt, har tillräcklig ventilation och en dörr som kan fungera som en kyldörr. Tänk på att använda vinklimatanläggningar eller material som är avsedda eller klarar fuktiga utrymmen. Man ska heller inte ta sig vatten över huvudet utan i många fall blir det trots allt billigare i längden att anställa någon för jobbet, då blir det ju oftast bra på första försöket!
