A brilliant design & build for this Small Garden in the heart of Clapham which encompasses a contemporary feel; with a wash of vibrant colours that help distract from the monotony and grey of London.
As this was a terraced house in Clapham, all materials and staff had to go through the house which made things a little trinket; however the clients were very pleased with the whole process and we are delighted that we managed to pull off such a fantastic job whilst maintaining some peace and quiet within the house.
Starting with the fencing; the fencing is a slatted timber which has been painted grey to add to the neutral was of colour from the paving and bespoke furniture for this small garden design. The paving is a Mandarin stone Kast White porcelain which will be handy in the summer, helping to reflect the heat to prevent the space becoming too hot with its built in BBQ and appliances. The white also compliments the fencing and the furniture provided. The BBQ and the bike storage unit that have been fitted are created from aluminium and are both bespoke to the clients wants and needs. The BBQ and wall coping countertop in this garden landscape are Dekton Aeris.

It has an garden room with a fireplace with under floor heating and full electrics and Wifi connections.
An outdoor bar feature for social occasions plus built in benches and a firepit. An extensive planting plan brings the space to life with an exotic theme to enhance the style of the design. An outdoor lighting plan bring the garden to life at night and creates all year round use.

About This Project
This project was to design a comfortable apartment space in a beautiful location in West London.
The family that resides in this home wanted to demonstrate their individual styles and tastes with the final result being a soothing sense of calmness and relaxation. Our project scope was to find a balance with all the different design styles, therefore to create a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing interior design for them. We combined diverse and complementary items, which when put together created a balanced look. We choose a selection of green colour shades for the dining chairs, footstool, vases and fabric patterns to create a connection between the interior and exterior. The simply gorgeous honey oak blind fabric gave the residence control of light without losing the view of the garden and allowing an element of privacy.
The rustic elements displayed from the shelving unit were combined with bespoke rope handles and then an introduction of flora, by including beautiful rich green plants bringing our clients closer to a sense of nature and freedom within their home – Leaving them with a far-away thought that the property was actually within urban London. The modern designed corner sofa and crisp clear straight lines of the workable spacious kitchen maintained a modern flair in the open-plan space.
The bespoke natural wood slab dining table was complemented with a matching bench on the opposite side, with guests and residents treated to luxurious velvet green dining chairs – The mood here we will describe as cosy. The bespoke high-end designer wallpaper mural, made from two frames, to create a magnificent piece of artwork was a huge component for this project and complements all the decor. The wallpaper pattern is an invitation not only to discover the unexpected diversity of beauty in all of its forms but also creates a welcoming and atmospheric area to enjoy at any time of the day.
The open plan design encourages interaction and socialisation of all the family and guests, as they will enjoy and feel welcomed into this space. The skylights flood the area with natural light and give the impression of height, with the sky visible above – “The simple things in life like a clear blue sky can bring so much pleasure”.
The connection of all the items mentioned from this project creates an abundance of a delightful interior design combination – Giving a refreshing and revitalising atmosphere. We loved completing this project – And as for the end result – you can see for yourself.

La rehabilitación de este jardín partía de dos premisas: por un lado la elección de especies con requerimiento de mantenimiento mínimo y la instalación de césped artificial en toda la parcela.

Sweeping through abundant planting on both sides, a curved path leads from the terrace outside the house to the dining table at the back, where, until a year ago, a large unused home office occupied the sunniest part of this north-facing garden. Backing on to an old cemetery, the view belies the fact that this is a London garden close to the Thames at Mortlake.

A small garden at the rear of a Grade II Listed property was extended beyond the original boundary after the client purchased the derelict and overgrown plots beyond. The original lawned garden space was redesigned as a courtyard using reclaimed yorkstone and a more contemporary 'secret garden' was created beyond the wall. A sunny chill out zone was created for the family to relax in, and a productive garden includes fruit trees and raised beds for growing vegetables.

This small back garden had more than its share of issues to address. From the narrow angled site, to the slope of the ground, lack of privacy, public drains, aging existing retaining walls and deck, underground electrical wiring, and difficult access, it really had it all!
The clients wanted a leafy secluded spot, where they could relax, entertain and feel immersed in nature. They also wanted a small productive area for some herbs and fruit trees. A garden shed was required and a means of access through from the front garden, although privacy was to be important.
The old deck was removed and replaced with beautiful vitex decking. This new deck connect the rooms of the house and wraps itself around the house, effectively managing the worst of the slope and creating clear symmetry within the angled boundaries. A central retained bed with a feature flowering cherry tree creates a generous boardwalk and makes the decking feel part of the garden. A privacy screen and considered planting increases privacy. A series of oversize platform stairs lead up to the highest part of the garden, which is filled with raised beds for vegetable and herbs and fruit trees.
Generous natural schist stepping stones connect the utility area of the garden to the decked area and meander through the vege garden.
The planting is designed to be leafy and green with soft white accents through the season. Beautiful feature trees include Prunus Shimidsu Sakura, Cercis Canadensis and Betula jacquemonti. Summer flowering perennials include gaura, verbena bonariensis, alchemilla mollis, anenome japonica and hydrangea.

Using a refined palette of quality materials set within a striking and elegant design, the space provides a restful and sophisticated urban garden for a professional couple to be enjoyed both in the daytime and after dark. The use of corten is complimented by the bold treatment of black in the decking, bespoke screen and pergola.
