US Cellar SystemsOne of the challenges in wine room construction is the size and shape of the space. For this project, Wine Cellar Specialists had to create a beautiful and functional design for a wine cellar under the stairs. Despite the space requirements and irregular shape of the room, they were able to come up with an elegant design. To keep the wines safe, they installed a commercial grade wine cellar refrigeration unit supplied by US Cellar Systems.

We took the best advantage of the limited space, installing a variety of wood wine racking types (including a convenient glass stemware rack).
This custom wine cellar in Huntington Beach, (Newport Beach area) California is a perfect example of how any space, no matter the size, can be made into a fully functional and beautiful wine storage solution. Custom Wine Cellars generally have no specifications other than a properly prepared room with vapor barrier and proper insulation. This gorgeous small wine cellar utilizes a custom glass and wrought iron wine cellar door with stained glass features throughout.
A glass enclosed small wine room requires boosting the cooling unit size often times because of lost heat and humidity. When using glass in your wine cellar, it is always best to use dual pane with a 1/4 inch gap. Vintage Cellars carries a variety of custom glass doors, custom wrought iron doors, and a combination of the two.
This small wine closet showcases the owner's collection beautifully. Innovative Wine Cellar DesignsFor this makeover project, the Scottsdale homeowner purchased a home that had an oddly shaped laundry room right near the front entrance. This turned out to be the perfect space in the house to convert into a custom wine cellar to hold the homeowner's 2,500-bottle collection. We transformed every inch of the 12' by 12' room into a spectacular custom wine cellar in about one and a half months. To add to the uniqueness of this project, we created one-of-a-kind wine racks made from reclaimed wine barrels and mahogany.
