This beautiful wine wall was the result of the space not being large enough to accommodate a temperature controlled wine cupboard, so we worked with our client, listened to what they wanted to achieve, used our skills to come up with some ideas, narrowed it down, and created what you see in place. And it has achieved the ambience to the area that they were hoping for.

Barn conversion with timber joinery throughout, the existing structure is complemented with a traditional finish. Fully bespoke L-shape kitchen with large island and marble countertop. Pantry and wine cellar incorporated into understair storage. Custom made windows, doors and wardrobes complete this rustic oasis.

We turned a disused barn into a unique wine cellar and entertainment space, enabling the client to open the barn onto the proposed landscaped garden. The barn was divided into two areas – a glass screened and temperature controlled wine cellar, and an entertainment room containing a wine fridge and selection of display wine racking. To enable us to control the temperature, the enclosed area had to be insulated, a vapour barrier installed and finished with plaster board. Racking, doors and framework constructed in solid oak. Capacity: 418 bottles for standard and magnums Features: Acrylic displays, scallop display racking and case racks. LED lighting with gold mirror fitted to all single bottle racking. Wine Guardian ducted system.

Desde luego, en este proyecto de interiorismo y decoración, el equipo de Molins Design afrontó distintos retos arquitectónicos. De entre todos los objetivos planteados para esta propuesta de diseño interior en Barcelona destacamos la optimización distributiva de toda la vivienda. En definitiva, lo que se pedía era convertir la casa en un hogar mucho más eficiente y práctico para sus propietarios.

This tiny white windowless cellar was given a complete makeover in black making the space appear much bigger. Custom black cabinetry with strip lighting and downlights was designed to store the wine and gin from a wine making and gin distilling family, plus to display their collection of Japanese whiskies. Located in the cellar of their own home, this beautiful space is enjoyed by family and friends very regularly.
