The simple vision to open up this old home in Weston to add an extra bedroom, ensuite, and garage, has resulted in a superb extension, and entire house renovation. The home was extended out to the side, to include two new bedrooms, an ensuite and walk-in robe, built over a new double garage, whilst the internal remodeling saw the complete opening up of the kitchen, dining and living areas. The living area flows onto a new deck and pergola that overlooks stuning gardens, including a fire-pit and semi-round, stone clad seating area. Designed and built with the clients love of entertaining in mind, the house also features a custom built wine cellar with bold, double glazed, black doors off the dining area, as well as a built-in gas fireplace, and a beautiful, open kitchen, with a large, uninterrupted island bench. The build was structurally complex, with the added challenge of unseasonal rain adding to the already large amount of excavation required to achieve the lower-level garage. Throughout the build, New Spaces worked closely with architect Zok Designs and engineers to maximise the structural integrity of the extension and the existing home, and provide the owners with additional garage storage. New Spaces worked closely with the owners throughout the build to accomodate a large number of design and finish changes, as well as scope changes, to ensure that we delivered a polished, turn-key house that our clients are now so proud to call their home.

Built in wine fridges are a great retrofit solution for homes. Vinomagna offers fully built-in Eurocave wine fridge cabinetry solutions. Creating a custom look wine display without the need for any additional major building works to your property. Our custom refrigerated wine wall projects will require an outdoor cooling system. However, there are no external cooling plant requirements with premium off the shelf wine fridges. The Design process for a built in wine fridge: In this project, the client lives in a top floor penthouse apartment in London. He requested a floor to ceiling wine display, sitting between the existing window frames. A built-in wine fridge solution for multi-tenanted buildings like this is the perfect solution. Making any building alterations to fit a custom refrigeration system will require the freeholder’s permission. The decision on the design was quickly accessed for a built-in wine fridge, clad in custom luxury finishes. In addition, the high ceiling height allowed for overhead storage to be factored in. There is a display counter clad in antique mirror, luxury marble and polished brass. The overhead polished brass glass hanger holds approx 16-20 glasses. This brass has been polished through a multi-stage buffing process that ensures the highest-grade finish. The under-counter drawer is for small item storage. There is an allocated area under the drawer for the clients refrigerated cigar humidor. This built-in wine fridge display incorporates all the features you would need for a small fit-out project. The Eurocave wine fridge can store the wine between 5-20°C. There is an area for room temperature counter top whiskey bottles illuminated with soft LED lighting. Overhead glass storage in a beautiful custom brass structure. Finally, a place to maintain the wine or champagne temperature while drinking it.

A Redwood wine wall with the capacity to store over 400 bottles. The ridged shelving of this wine wall beautifully shows off the labels of the bottles. Our client is an avid collector of a New Zealand wine, because of this we designed custom shelving to showcase the specific years. The temperature controlled wine wall, located in Chislehurst, London has been connected to Google for voice activation, enabling the user to set the ambience of the space, whilst also being able to monitor the atmospheric conditions from a phone.
