Laminex Brushed Bronze is used on the floating wall cabinet to whisper luxury and pique interest about the treasures within. An asymmetric split of mirror and bronze continues on the dressing table drawers making for an overall subtle material mix with intriguing, blurred lines. To the left of the dressing table, recessed L-shaped shoe shelving suggests a more expansive space than actuality, once again avoiding long, straight run cabinets. Lucia’s clothing is placed at the dressing table end and Pierre at the bathroom end minimizing traffic conflict in the space. Functionality: • All clothing has been accommodated within Lucia’s reach, with minimal space wastage. • All shelving matches width and depth of garments for permanent tidiness and are within sight and reach without bending. • Angling the shoe shelves reduces the projection of the seat into the room. • Custom shoe drawers for casual shoes maximise space • Custom scarf rack capitalises on the small space behind the door with easy selection and visibility • Scarf/belt racks slide out for easy vision/access Polytec Notaio Walnut in 25mm thickness for main cabinetry is proportionate to the scale of the space. Mirror top dressing table edges protected from chipping by aluminium bronze channel. Motion sensor lighting for convenience Dimmable lighting for variations in task and ambience. Glare minimized through overhead cabinets concealing upper LED’s Attribution:Dressing table in front of the mirror was inspired by a Madeleine Blanchfield Architects project on “Houzz”.

This walk in closet is part of a large property in central London. The client asked Tim Wood to come up with a storage solution for her extensvie collection of shoes and handbags. Tim Wood designed and made shelving that would accommodate the exact proportions of her shoes. The rails that the handbags hang from were all specially moulded to echo the exact shape of the clients shoulder, so that they could retain their shape perfectly. The closet houses over two hundred pairs of shoes, and can easily be expanded further to accommodate new purchases. The client is thrilled with this totally bespoke walk in closet that houses her prized collection of shoes such as Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Louboutin, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce Gabbana, Manolo Blanik, Emma Hope, Salvatore Ferragamo, Lanvin, Paul Smith and Guiseppe Zanotti. The client has over seventy five handbags such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Fendi, Dior, Gucci, Anya Hindmarch, Jimmy Choo, Bill Amberg, Lanvin, Mulberry, Chloe, Alexander McQueen, Dolce Gabbana, Michael Kors, Vivienne Westwood, Moschino, Diane von Furstenberg, Lulu Guinness, Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Bottega Veneta, Miu Miiu and Burberry. Jaime and Nathan have been chipping away at turning their home into their dream. We worked very closely with this couple and they have had a great input with the design and colors selection of their kitchen, vanities and walk in robe. Being a busy couple with young children, they needed a kitchen that was functional and as much storage as possible. Clever use of space and hardware has helped us maximize the storage and the layout is perfect for a young family with an island for the kids to sit at and do their homework whilst the parents are cooking and getting dinner ready.

Creating the perfect space for our client's treasures was a huge part of the design brief for this Bentleigh home.
