"I wanted to put as much thought and detail into the exterior of this classic Spanish home as I put into the interior design. I took an otherwise common precast quatrefoil moulding and tiled the interior with hand painted European tiles. These tiles complement those used in the interior of the house--a prelude of what is to come, for the homeowners and guests. This design is repeated in two locations of the exterior but with different tile patterns." Joni Koenig
