Mountain High Style
The vernacular garage attaches to the main house via a enclosed passageway. The board and batten siding, simple carriage doors and lattice detail provide architectural interest to the simple structure. Photography: Emily Jenkins Followill

Garage sets down from rest of house, which is raised as normal in Thailand

Garage with entry to the house (kitchen entry) inside the garage, and the second door in this pic closed off, with a French door in its place

Very rustic. Big doors to open or allow easy delivery of big equipment. High ceilings for storage. Windows for light

This is a nice way to have garage space without it appearing to be a huge two car space.
