San Antonio Spanish colonial dining room. Mesquite wood which is Indiginous to southern Texas was mixed with limestone tiles in the floor and the rustic beams in the ceiling mirror the design of each other. A quadrafoil pattern is hand painted on the ceiling between the beams and follows the chandelier canopy in the center. Rich red walls create a warm dining setting . We like to mix light and dark furnishings to add interest and accent as you can see from the display cabinets in the right alcove. Red silk drapery accented with woven shades add to the Texan style formality.
