Country Home - Exterior
Integration of an old farmhouse with new additions for a large four season room with large windows.
Renovated farmhouse with a few additions. Taking a good design and adding more character.
A little darker but works well as a simple farmhouse design.
Simple farmhouse design.
Good use of space for the large window openings. Even if this was a new build, it looks like a farmhouse that has been renovated. The pool is a must.
Like the use of the window space.
Nice tight use of backyard space with a small garden. Too much exposed space directly in the back of a house makes it look unfinished.
Like the three upper windows in a row, adds European charm.
Nice arched windows Depending on design would prefer the arch that comes to a point over a completely half moon top of the window.
Again, simple farmhouse that has been renovated and additions made.
The exterior door that opens to the rest of the entryway is a thoughtful idea to mitigate the temperature fluctuations throughout the year. I think that this method would limit the about of outside temperature reaching the interior of the house.
The stonework wall at the entrance makes the home seem more secure than a completely open entrance.
The soft white light works well and is desirable over sterile bright white lights. I also like the isle that is created with the hedgerow, perpetuation for a wedding, etc.
I like the pegoda (?) with the exposed wood beams with stone walls on three sides.
Gives the appearance of a stream under the "bridge".
I like the stone wall around the patio area - it gives a feeling and visual appeal of security.
