Sunroom
Nice couch/beds with storage
Other trim option is the usual around each window.
Perhaps do just a pine board instead of trim between the three windows...and maybe between the double windows on the east side...would save trim and may look better. Check with Lacasse.
Paint colour is nice...greeny beige
Spring colours in the cushions
Dreamcatcher
Roof and seating
Shelves and under bench drawers for board games and storage
Stripes and floral cushions are nice too
Solid colour could be ok for banquette too
Fabric on the chair
Bright colours, but without the valance....go with shades, maybe go with a bit less colour
This is perfect! The other side is a dining area. Nice and bright. Room is 12' x 21.5' just 1.5' longer than we have planned. Big but not too big, not too narrow or wide.
Bright
Bright, windows at top
Do the floor of sunroom like decking or cork or other? Need to heat so decking is not likely an option. Have floor match colour of ceiling or put an area rug?
Colours and brightness
Silver fish is fun!
Like all the light, high ceiling, fan. A little modern looking though
1 of two favourites. Input from a designer: Best floors for 3 season rooms: tile, stone, brick or concrete. 13' x 16'8" room and seems to have lots of room so could make it a bit narrower and a little shorter. Sarah susanka's books. It is really important that you measure the banquette bench to be comfortable with nice cushions. If you're doing 3" or 4" cushions, and back cousins, the depth is quite a bit more but the height is quite a bit lower as the cushions increase height.. My architect designed it so that the seat has a 1" slope towards the back and the back has a 3" angle and a lip under the window sill for the back cushion to sit into. I also decided to have a deeper window sill and a deeper seat as I anticipate that the window seat will be used for lounging purposes where the sitter is not always facing the table. I am thinking some extra movable cushions will make this comfortable for when you are eating as well. The edge of the window seat should have about a 2-3" lip to allow people to tuck their feet under who they sit. Without this, they will keep kicking and banging up whatever base you have.
One of two of my favourite sunrooms...perhaps a lighter colour ceiling though or sky lights or perhaps a higher ceiling, slanted or peaked. Also need a higher back rest and cushions on the seating. Really like the idea of built in seating (wide enough to lounge on) on two to three sides so a rectangular table could be at either end of the sunroom.
12'x30' so longer than our plan but about the same width ...our sunroom will not have the shelving so will actually have more room if it is 12' wide
Pale blue and white....very calm. Would like bigger windows behind the couch ...maybe the small windows for the north side and larger on the east and south side of sunroom!
About 14' x 20' and looks like lots of room for dining and sectional...so 12' wide should be fine
Colours
Wall of windows between main house and sunroom would let in lots of light
Wall of windows and doors between sunroom and main house
Conservatory Craftsmen 2016-10-27 @Laura McClellan you will see on the wall a unit we use to treat our room. We heat and cool independently. Your floor is already installed, otherwise I would advise infloor heating. In SC a mat on concrete will always sweat, because of your high heat and humidity. The only way to keep the floor dry is to allow air to pass over it all the time. A fan is also critical, as the air should be moving, not static. Consider doing ceramic tile on the floor. This will help. Look at P-Tac units for low cost heating/cooling or even better, a mini-split. Many companies make these.
