Houzz, the world’s leading platform for home renovation and design, today announced the launch of a localized website, Houzz.ru, and apps for Russian iOS and Android users. Strong local demand for the Houzz offering, which helps people renovate and design their homes from start to finish, prompted the company’s expansion into Russia.

At launch, over 100,000 Russian homeowners are already using the Houzz site and apps every month to find design inspiration, get advice from the largest home community on the web, source products, research and hire home professionals, and manage home projects from start to finish. Russian trade professionals are already active on Houzz as well, with over 3,000 home professionals using the site to showcase their work, build their brands and reach new clients. Globally, Houzz has grown organically to more than 25 million monthly unique users, 90 percent of whom are homeowners, and more than 700,000 active home renovation and design professionals in more than 60 categories such as architects, interior designers, builders, and more.
