Houzz App Gets an Update
Houzz, the leading platform for home renovation and design, today released the latest version of its free app for iPhone®, iPad® and iPod® touch, with a new design that makes the app even more simple, beautiful and easy to use.
The new version of the Houzz App, which provides people with everything they need to improve their homes from start to finish, has been designed to provide:
- Access to Key Houzz Features with a Single Tap: Users can now easily switch between the Photos, Find a Pro and Shop features of the Houzz App with a new menu that will remain static at the bottom of the screen. A new vertical home feed also lets users find similar photos by room and style with a single tap. An updated search makes it easier to search all of the content across Houzz, and receive results for photos, stories, professionals and discussions all in one place.
- New and Improved “Your Houzz” Experience: Users’ profiles and personal ideabooks now live on the same page of the Houzz App, bringing these popular features into one place. By tapping the “Add or Edit Collaborators” button at the top of ideabooks, users can even more easily share and collaborate on their home projects. A new “Ask a Question” button lets users quickly ask the Houzz community for advice. And a streamlined photo sharing process includes the ability to take a photo within the app, or upload a photo from the camera roll, and save it directly to an ideabook.
