Beware if you need a job done buy a certain time, this company will promise but will not deliver. Called many times with no returned calls. Very disappointed

10+ - Number of persistent phone calls (including at least four un-returned voice messages) required to get an exterior door installed. (It’s a door!) 2 - Number of missed scheduled installation appointments (all of which were outside the promised installation time frame) without any notification 3 - Number of required return trips to complete scope of the contract or adjust the installation 2 - Number of times I was scolded by ownership for unreasonable expectations I would avoid using Builders & Remodelers at all costs. I signed a contract for $3,010 to replace a rear exterior door and – in my opinion – B&R made the whole process a complete cluster. I hate leaving a negative review for a family owned, local business. That being said, let there be no mistake, when considering contractors for your next home improvement project, I highly recommend removing Builders & Remodelers from consideration.

Since this is our second experience, we knew the product would be amazing AND it was. The part that was lacking this time was the communication to schedule the services. We were given no time lines and when I asked I got the run around or no returned calls. I finally received a call days or as much as 2 weeks later with no explanation then the installation would be scheduled for the next day. With the siding, they called from my front yard wanting to start, no notice. Great finished product.

Window replacement. Adam Bressler was the salesman that came out to the house to show us what his company could do for us. He didn't rush us and answered all of our questions. By the end of the meeting we were sold on Adam which sold us on his company. The windows have since been installed and so far we like what we see. We are hoping when the cold Minnesota winter arrives that we will still be pleased with the new windows.

This is a family owned business and takes great pride in their work. They are great at communicating. They came to our house to present the product, invited us to their showroom to see more models, and was always available by phone or email if we had questions. We purchased all new exterior doors for our home and they are beautiful. The installation was quick, clean, and quality work. They also discard the old doors for you. Customer service is very important to me and everyone I worked with at Builders and Remodelers were polite, prompt, thorough.
