Adi Gershoni Architect

I was bidding on the job and as soon as I saw the architectural drawings, I knew Adi is a very professional architect. Typically I don't get such good drawings from architects. Thanks to Adi's detailed drawings, I could provide a lower fee proposal for the job. It was very clear what needs to be done and so there was less need for contingency. This was a high-end job and very detailed. Adi was available at all times to provide answers and clarifications. Many times he showed up at the site at a moment's notice to make sure everything was clear and going well. Adi quite often provided 3D drawings and sketches to clarify complicated details. This helped me and my sub-contractors tremendously. It made our job easier and allowed the millworkers to reduce the costs to the owner. Since that initial job we have done two more jobs together. I'm looking forward to working with Adi again.

Adi was the architect for a renovation of my apartment in the East Village. His approach to planning and design is thoughtful and creative. He considers the functionality and efficiency of spaces without compromising on aesthetics. We reviewed options and eventually came up with a plan that works perfectly and satisfies my needs. Adi was much attuned to my requests and preferences while also providing creative ideas and solutions that often surprised me. Adi is very experienced in working with the DOB, and the approvals and permits process went smoothly. He is very detail oriented and knowable about construction work, materials, finishes and plumbing and lighting fixtures. His architectural drawings are very professional and as a result the bidding contractors provided detailed costs proposals, which was very helpful when we analyzed the bids and selected the right contractor for the job. Adi was always available and replied promptly to emails and calls. He communicates clearly and always with a positive and problem solving approach. It's a pleasure working with Adi and I would absolutely recommend him.

Adi is not only a great architect but also a wonderful team member. He led a complex renovation of a town house in Williamsburg flawlessly, and created a plan that is at one and the same time inspiring and grounded. The result is a house where people who enter shake their head for its beauty and simplicity. Adi's focus was an open floor design that took light and lines of sight as a main consideration. He also paid attention to a lot of small details in the finishes, and the way the old blends with the new. He had created the sketches, detailed pricing plans, submission set for the department of buildings, and 3D drawings. Throughout the project Adi was always available in person or on the phone, would be on the site regularly, and helped guide the GC and engineers through the permitting process diligently. Adi's fees where always reasonable, and terms of payment more than fair. We were very happy with the process and the results, and wholeheartedly recommend Adi for jobs in the future.
