Working with Amy has been a JOY! Great communication skills, she listens to what your "wants" are and identifies your "needs". Not something that is common these days.

I got Amy's contact information from my sister who had just used her for extensive renovations/remodeling in her home, so I was excited when she agreed to work with me because my sister's home turned out beautifully. The first thing Amy commented on when she arrived was the poor lighting in our home. We live in a very wooded area and struggle to get natural light. No more! Amy drew up an extensive design and lighting plan that has exceeded any expectations we may have had. She also was able to connect us with professionals in other areas we needed to assist with our kitchen/family room/laundry room/dining room/half bath project. She stuck with us after months of delays due to COVID complications wreaking havoc on our timelines. We were very happy with Amy's involvement in our project and will certainly call on her again when we regain some strength to do more renovations.

Amy helped us arrange the layout in our family room. She helped with furniture options and placements. She was extremely helpful and had many contacts to help us work out our project. She is willing to help as much or as little as needed. I will use her again!

I needed some help in selecting new flooring. I didn't want a rustic look and was having trouble finding something I liked. I called Amy and she came over within a couple of days and made some recommendations. I took her advice and I think my living room and dining room turned out very well. She also gave me some other ideas for redecorating my living room, and I am still working on that. Amy was easy to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again.

Wow. What can I say about Amy? She is professional, detailed, creative and frugal! We built a home 1,000 miles away and she provided great advice, support, encouragement and made ordering furniture and window treatments a fun experience. She was very patient and kept going until we found the right fabric or right furniture piece! She has a great eye for color and a very soothing personality! Will be working with her more in the future.

I hired Amy to help me update our 30 year old home that included the installation of a new kitchen. My goal was to use pieces of mid-century modern Dunbar furniture that I inherited from my mother mixed with pieces that I already had to create a fresh, modern space. Amy had access to a terrific guy who reupholstered 2 sofas, 3 chairs, and 2 ottomans in addition to making at least a dozen pillows, all using beautiful fabrics that Amy helped me choose. Amy has a terrific eye and picked up on my style and preferences through careful listening and observation. Amy helped me choose everything from flooring and paint to faucets and cabinet hardware. We choose many lighting fixtures and lamps, too! She was able to arrange a personal meeting with a local artist who gave us a tour of his studio and created a really interesting piece of art for our family room. Amy returned phone calls, texts, and emails right away and often shared her ideas including photos and links electronically. Our work together lasted nearly 6 months and we are really pleased with the beautiful results. See Eagle Creek home in Amy's portfolio for pictures. I am eager to work with Amy again soon on a master bed and bath remodel.

Amy at Amethyst Interiors is wonderful to work with on projects! She is an excellent designer who is very creative and technical. While interacting with her and her clients it is clear that she has a talent for listening to her clients and then creating a vision for their project. Her attention to detail helps her execute her designs with ease. We at Santarossa Mosaic & Tile have enjoyed working with her recently and hope that we have the opportunity to work with her in the future!
