A Santa Fe resident since 1978, I've been a "hands on" general contractor and a custom home builder/remodeler since 1997. My prior 25 years of construction experience as a cabinetmaker and finish carpenter taught me to keep my eyes on details, both large and small. I take a very holistic approach to the construction process because what is unseen inside, outdoors, and below the walls is as important as the finishes that provide the "Wow". Terrain management and drainage are also very important parts of the building process. Through the years I have worked with architects, designers, real estate agents, and homeowners, giving all clients the same attention to detail. One of the most important aspects of my approach to construction is to listen to the client and develop a comfort level of communication. If there is a problem with communication, there will be a problem with construction. This is especially true with homeowners that do not have the assistance of a design professional. However, given my years as a cabinet shop owner and craftsman, I am very comfortable working with a client directly in helping them make their ideas a reality. That high level of customer service and our quality craftsmanship has meant that Arpad Builders, LLC enjoys a great deal of repeat business from a happy client base. Arpad Builders, LLC is a GB98 licensed, insured, and bonded general contractor in Santa Fe, NM. We only work with licensed and insured subcontractors, many of whom we have worked with for 20 years or more. Our primary base of operations is limited to a 20 mile radius of downtown Santa Fe, NM.
