Having purchased a home that Batter Kay designed the original plans for 30+ years ago, I contacted them to see if they might refer us to someone that would help us remodel our home, respecting the integrity of their original design. Michael and Janice offered to work with us on personally on our remodel, and we couldn’t be more happy with our experience working with them. Michael and Janice guided us through every step of the way, and turned what most people said was a beautiful home into an absolutely stunning show piece. As two people who know nothing about design, building, materials, decorating (you get the idea) … we left EVERYTHING up to Michael and Janice. We’re now feel extremely lucky to live in a home in which we feel like we’re on a vacation, in a dream every day. Michael and Janice are wonderful people to work with from every perspective, and are wonderful people personally as well. The general contractor and all of the trades people and suppliers that they recommended were all top notch. If you’re thinking about retaining them … stop thinking and do it. They are the best.

When looking to purchase a condo we fell in love with one of Batter Kay's multifamily buildings so who better to design the interior. At the first meeting Janice and Michael Batter listened to our wish list of what to include in an open concept modern design as well as a fabulous lighting plan. Our goal for project completion was also discussed and happily we missed the date by only 2 weeks! We worked with Janice and Michael through a few iterations as the details were fine tuned. Every step of the remodel process they were there with suggestions of various showrooms, helping with product and finish selections, and guiding the general contractor and subcontractors on how to achieve a clean modern design. Professional and talented in every respect, they delivered a beautiful interior design that complements the building's exterior. We love our new home, Batter Kay turned our dream into reality!
