The company was founded in 1990 and has been continuously owned and operated by award winning interior designer Donna Rosenthal. Ms. Rosenthal is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Bella Casa operates from it’s original studio location in Upper Arlington, Ohio.

We have worked with Donna twice in the past twenty years and will soon be calling her for a third time. She helped design and furnish our home in 1998 and again when we moved in 2011. She is easy-going, creative, and intuitive. She is a great listener who seeks to find what we may not be able to describe. She will work with new items, recovering old favorites, or incorporating sentimental items. The results are spectacular but livable/comfortable. She introduced us to a wonderful sculptor. We chose two of his pieces. She helped us to select work from a favorite artist of ours. The result of her excellent work was on display for the German Village Haus and Garten Tour in 2012. PS She loved our dog who loved her back.

She has great ideas for bringing traditional and fun together. She made an overwhelming project much easier for us by bringing us options but not overwhelming us. She listened to what we liked and didn't like and came back with options we loved. She also works with other professionals who were on time, on budget and realistic about deadlines. Donna Rosenthal (Bella Casa) is an excellent interior designer. She listens to the client’s vision, provides creative samples, learning and refining selections along the way until she knows your taste perfectly. She is respectful of budget. Has impeccable taste. She isn’t pushy. She’s Funny and easy to work with. I have worked with professionals before who tried to make my house look they way they wanted not what I wanted. Donna is a refreshing change. I imagine we will work together many times.

We have used Donna for several home Improvement projects over the past 20 years. One first home was a large 1920’s brick Colonial in the olde section of Upper Arlington, Ohio. Donna was the design artist for the extensive renovation of the entire home. Our current home is a Craftsman ranch situated on one of Pinehurst County Club’s golf courses. Donna has been involved in the design and renovation process even thought we are now 10 hours away. We would highly recommend Donna. She has brought new life to the homes we have owned, making them uniquely inviting and a wonderful place to share with family and friends.

Donna Rosenthal has completed two projects for me, one in the spring of 2014 and a second, larger project in 2018. Her work is stunning. The sitting area she created in my kitchen is my favorite spot in the entire house! I live in a 100-year old home and that means some awkward space configurations, which Donna absolutely transformed. She also did a beautiful decoration of my outdoor space, choosing furniture and planting arrangements that are beautiful. I highly recommend this lovely and gifted designer.
