I've never had such an unprofessional experience. Within two minutes of our first conversation, the salesperson was screaming at me that everything about my project was wrong. I was hoping to find a contractor willing to give me two or three bids for a basement bathroom - a low, a medium, and a high - and then help us choose the best option for our family. He kept interrupting me and wouldn't even let me explain much about the project. Had he done so, he would have learned that I had $59,000 in my budget, which surely would be enough considering the last two bids we got from other contractors were $14,000 and $22,000. Maybe if your budget is $200,000 for one room, these guys are for you. But if not, expect to be told your home builder was wrong for not finishing your bathroom when you first built, and that everything you say is wrong. Wrong! I've never had someone I tried to hire raise their voice at me. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional!

We really enjoyed working with James Barton Design-Build. They made a complex (overwhelming) project easy! The design team was incredible. I relied on Emily for everything. Our lead carpenter, Ryan, was excellent. He paid attention to details, kept us updated, made sure the worksite was clean and answered all of our questions.

We did a major remodel of our lower level. We were down to studs and removing walls. The design process was great. The work was done well and they were VERY clean at the end of each day. They also did a good job of keeping us updated on what was done and what was coming next.

We had a wonderful experience with our remodeling project! The designer was very professional and creative. The work was beautifully done and we have many compliments on our new look! We also had a roof replacement and that was done very efficiently as well.
