James and Sam deserve the highest recommendations. I was looking for a storage unit to house my collection of vinyl LP's and turntable etc. I had tight constraints on window deadline for delivery of the unit and for the budget. I am in Northumberland, with James and Sam in Bristol. I wanted it so the LP sleeve faced the front like they would in a record shop rather than having the sleeve spines on show. So the whole thing from idea to installation was done completely via phone and email. There were issues regarding materials and the availability of them, and issues regarding delivery of the finished unit. However with their professionalism and skill, ideas, dedication, and integrity to the project, James and Sam overcame these issues to get the unit installed on time and in budget. The unit looks fantastic now it is installed and is even better than it looked in the photos James and Sam emailed to me at various times. If you need something bespoke these guys are the ones to contact.

Highly highly recommend these guys (two brothers). They did four pieces of work for us (kitchen cabinets, two bookshelves, bedroom wardrobe and bathroom cabinets) and we are incredibly pleased with all of them. Over a period of many years and visits to many retail outlets, ebay, amazon etc I thought my dream was dead, a need for something unique; a bespoke cabinet combining storage, display, hifi and spirits unit. Left alone except for when queries were raised, these guys worked full days non stop to construct the unit. The result was a truly wonderful piece of contemporary furniture. Finished to very high standard with a clear love and desire for working with wood. Easily, the best piece of furniture I will ever own. Thank you James & Sam.

James did a great job of making an d fitting a built-in bathroom cabinet with mirrors - great. No fuss, kept to schedule, everything went very smoothly.

From a very unspecific brief for a hall coat stand in light oak, they sketched a number of original ideas and provided a quotation for our chosen design which included hand made coat hooks matching the design of the structure. We were impressed by the attention to detail at every stage and especially with the practicality and perfect construction of the finished stand.

Burke and Marshall made us a stunning coffee table and two benches for a long dining room table. From the beginning to the end they were wonderful to work with, even with my annoying changes, they always responded quickly and professionally. Their attention to detail was impressive, making a perfect wrap around with the wood grain so it looked like the table was one piece. Every aspect of the finished products exuded in quality, from workmanship to design and quality of materials. I would highly recommend them and am very much looking forward to getting more of their pieces.

Designed and constructed a bespoke bathroom cabinet to fit in the corner of our bathroom and fitted oak shelving to finish the room. The whole job went smoothly from start to finish and we always felt that our individual ideas very taken on board and incorporated into the end product. The standard of the work completed was second to none and we got exactly what we asked for. James and Sam are very professional in their approach to the work and were always respectful and courteous when carrying out the work in our home. Cannot recommend them highly enough. I worked closely with them to achieve the furniture I wanted but at a cost that was more than reasonable considering it is bespoke furniture that can last for generations. My drinks cabinet is proudly on display in my house and every single person who visits comments on its quality, design and the high level of workmanship that clearly went into it. The writing desk similarly is an example of not only excellent design quality but their capacity for innovation and updating traditional designs.
