We did a complete remodel of our home this past year and worked with Carol's to update our window treatments. The designer we worked with did a fabulous job with the selection process and we were extremely pleased with the final results. Our project was rather extensive and we had a few things that needed to be tweaked once they were installed. Carol was extremely helpful in resolving our issues, working directly with the manufacture to ensure an outcome that would satisfy us 100%. Carol and her staff provide excellent customer service as well as a beautiful finished project.

I am so very happy with the valances I have. I knew exactly what I wanted in my head but finding it was the problem. I worked with Samantha and gave her a real challenge. I had a not very popular color combination, working on a limited budget and a hard time explaining my ideas. She was wonderful. We found a fabric that even surprised me in how well it made up, and Samantha found a gorgeous braid to offset it to perfection. Was a bit (not much) more than I wanted to spend but to accomplish my vision was so worth it. Having windows that are not standard size always presents a challenge and requires custom, this was a happy experience.

Carol helped us throughout the process of moving from St. Loius into our new home. She took our furniture measurements and suggested where our pieces would work, colors for painting rooms, and window treatments which we purchased from her gallery. The decisions were so easy with her guidance and we love the results. We're still adding accessories and she's with us all the way. Carol's a gem; both my husband and I have been able to relax throughout the move because we've had her help. Carol's team is terrific. We trust Carol's judgement in all phases of decorating and highly recommend her.

Carol Collins does a wonderful job of designing, measuring and installing draperies. She has given her time and expertise to insure beautiful and professional jobs, each and every time. She has installed delightful sheers with beautifully coordinating valances; unlined, gorgeously pleated linen draperies on very large and decorative rods; and fully lined silk with matching valences (installed against an uneven ceiling in a restored home) on multi-layered traverse rods. Along with her willing installer and husband, Bill, she accomplishes some small design miracles and never loses her patience or her smile.

I have worked with Carol many times. She is a wonderful decorator with a deep knowledge of materials and products. She has the expertise to put together a room or a whole house. That should be evident to anyone looking at the pictures on this site. What the photos can't show is her ability and desire to understand what customers actually want. She helps bring their ideas to life, with care, skill, and integrity. Anyone can sell you what everyone else is getting today, or play it safe and decorate your house in tan. Carol can, in my opinion, handle just about any decorating challenge. I have also been impressed with the knowledge and skill of her employees, and her husband, Bill. Carol's Custom Draperies is truly a business that is focused on the customer.

Carol worked with me on all the window treatments for our new home 7 years ago. She listened to our needs/ likes and made wonderful suggestions. The work was completed in a timely fashion; and we are still as pleased with the result as we were when everything was installed!

I have had Carol's Custom Draperies make window coverings for me for two houses. I was extremely pleased with Carol ideas and attention to details for the windows in my first house in 2007. The coverings ranged from formal English curtains with shears to casual contemporary India curtains in our game room. When we moved into our new house in 2013 I immediately called Carol to do the new window coverings. The curtains are beautiful and it was a pleasure working with Carol and her staff. Carol handled the window treatments, including shades, blinds and accent drapes for our new home in Denton, Texas. We were given personal and professional attention and all calls for service and/or questions were always answered in a reasonable amount of time. She and her husband, and business partner, helped us make some important decisions, although they know you have to make up your own mind so they are patient (there are a lot of decisions to be made) and allow you to take your time and if possible take samples home and come out to your house and measure and provide other very important services to make all your window decorating ideas come together. Another helpful aspect is that they are utilizing technology so emailing details and reviewing drawings saves time and makes it more efficient for both Carol and you, the client. Even when they were tired and busy they have always been friendly, professional and accommodating; my husband and I highly recommend them if you live in or around Denton, Texas!
