Love Coming Home specialise in renovation solutions for residential clients, providing honest advice. Love Coming Home help clients by "Turning Houses Into Homes". Love Coming Home previously known as Interiors Infocus have worked on a number of different projects with different client briefs as well as being featured in a number of magazines over the years, including a penthouse in Potts Point, which was later furnished by the now infamous Darren Palmer. Our strength lies in creating positive outcomes for you, whether it is working with the existing spaces or adding on. On a personal note I have been working in the industry for more than 30 years. When I was in my late teens I would help my dad who is a master craftsman, deliver and install joinery for residential and retail clients. It wasn't until I was in my late twenty's that I started working in design and on the manufacturing side, where I learnt how the cabinetry was put together and how truly spaces worked. Design is important but it helps to know that what is being designed works in the space and for you the client. Preparation is key to a fantastic renovation! - working with clients during the concept stage where everything and anything is possible and the choices are truly endless. Our goal is for you to feel like you are "Coming Home" when you turn that front door key,

I’ve been working with Caroline for almost a year now. I’m sure most renovations never go smoothly and the planning stage has taken me a lot longer than expected. Caroline has put up with me chopping and changing my mind, while offering sound advice and options to suit my style. She’s gone above and beyond to assist with sourcing a builder for me, and has guided me through the whole process. Caroline’s experience in the industry shines with her product knowledge and layout suggestions. I have no hesitation recommending Caroline for all of your interior design work. As well as my kitchen, laundry and walk in pantry, she designed a gorgeous mud cabinet and wardrobes for me as well. Thank you Caroline for your patience with me! You’re wonderful. Caroline from Interiors Infocus has helped me several times over the past couple of years to design my new laundry, my stunning kitchen & now my beautiful new ensuite. Her ideas are absolutely amazing, always very clever in design & on trend. My ensuite has gone from a 22 year old very dated bathroom to a stylish, practical, bright & airy space that I absolutely love. Caroline never ceases to amaze me with her ideas, product knowledge, attention to detail which only comes from years of experience, about all things kitchen, laundry & bathrooms etc. & not forgetting her friendly can do attitude. After extensive research, I decided to use the company Interiors Infocus as my kitchen designer. Caroline on first impressions was very friendly, approachable, professional, and knowledgeable. She listened to what I had in mind for my kitchen and came up with even better ideas and solutions. Caroline was very thorough in her measurements and came back another day to ensure she had everything correct. I am extremely happy with her designs and can't wait for her creations to be implemented. Caroline was also very helpful in finding a kitchen builder for me and I have been able to consult with her on several occasions for any questions I had. I can't wait for the kitchen to be completed! Thank you Caroline and I would definitely recommend her to anyone interested in a kitchen renovation.

She spent time discussing our needs and presented 2 plans, one of which was very different to what we’d been thinking and was innovative in design. She has been involved in tweaks to improve space design and flow. Her communication has been excellent. I would recommend her as a designer.

Kings Cross apartment renovation

We had the pleasure of working with Caroline to draft the designs of all the joinery work involved in our home renovation project, including kitchen, robes, linen cupboard, bathrooms, window bench and TV unit. Caroline was a gem to deal with - affable, approachable and soundly professional, but what stood out was her wealth of experience in the field, which we were fortunate to be able to tap into. A feature of her approach was the ability to get the most out of limited spaces, continually demonstrating a keen sense of practical innovation while maintaining a high level of aesthetic design. We could not have been more delighted with the end product, which exceeded expectations in every way. Based on our experience, we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Caroline for any joinery design initiative.

This is the third time we have called on Caroline for assistance with design. She has designed two kitchens for us (in two different houses) and now our laundry/guest bathroom is in the design process at the moment. Caroline is an absolute dynamo. We explain to her what we would like and she runs with it, she always understands what we want and what can and can't be done, but never pushes her own opinions and ideas unless she thinks the design could be more functional and user - friendly. She is always conscious of budget, without foregoing style and quality so the design and end result will always look amazing. Caroline is outgoing, easygoing and she enjoys dealing with people, so when we get together its like a reunion with a family member.

Last year my wife and I contacted Caroline from Interiors Infocus to assist us with the proposed renovation of our 2 bathrooms. Caroline designed both bathrooms and personally helped us to purchase most of the new bathroom products at very good prices. She also arranged for an excellent builder to complete the renovation. The new bathrooms are perfect and look fantastic. We consider ourselves very lucky to have gotten Caroline. Truly, I give Interiors Infocus 5/5 stars

We “discovered” Interiors Infocus on Houzz and, based on Caroline’s quick and professional response to our initial query, we knew that Caroline was going to be the ideal person to assist us with renovations in the kitchen, pantry, study, lounge and lock-up garage. Caroline has an engaging, positive and ‘can do’ approach that, combined with her years of experience and knowledge, made it easy for us to discuss our ideas and work together. Caroline is not only generous with her time, she genuinely listens to what you want to achieve and then efficiently follows through on agreed actions. Importantly, Caroline presented us with a comprehensive set of detailed 3D and technical designs complete with samples of selected products so that we could ‘see’ the finished result before we began. Caroline also connected us to quality, professional tradesman who provided above average work with a customer-friendly and flexible approach. All trade work was overseen by Caroline which was fantastic as her expert-eye picked up on details that would have escaped our attention. We highly recommend Caroline’s services and would absolutely use Caroline again for future home renovations.

We hired this company to remove our old, dark kitchen and to design and create a brighter, lighter kitchen with better use of the limited space available. Using her vast experience Caroline designed a beautiful kitchen using state of the art technology and respectfully suggesting the installation of long, soft shutting drawers, a large pantry, plenty of work surfaces and a long bench sufficient to seat all of our large family. This was a task many thought would not be possible. Throughout this project Caroline and her tradesmen were polite, respectful and very professional. All deadlines and budgets were met, the quality of the work was outstanding and the whole process was stress-free. Caroline and her 'team' were both extremely knowledgeable and helpful and created a beautiful working kitchen that I am very proud to show to our friends.. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and we wouldn't hesitate to use Caroline and her team for any other house projects that we may have in the future.

Thanks Caroline. It was great working with you again! I've now had Interiors in Focus work on two of my kitchens (Birchgrove and Hunters Hill), and also a lot of interior design at those houses. I wanna begin by saying that it was an absolute pleasure to work with Caroline. My wife and I hired her to design a major renovation of my apartment, which included a full kitchen, bathroom and laundry redo, repaint and recarpet throughout. We also asked her to manage the renovation as well. We immediately found her to be very knowledgable, organised and down to earth - definitely very easy to deal with and super accomodating. She has a great relationship with her tradies and found us great products at fantastic prices - she bargained hard for us! Caroline is super enthusiastic, and always delivered on time throughout each phase of the project - in fact we were able to finish earlier than planned which was a big bonus for us. She listened to what we wanted and did her best to give us as many options to choose from as possible. She never rushed us and always gave us great advice to guide us through our choices. My old and tired apartment was totally reborn again. I am super happy with the result and have already recommended her to some of our friends and wouldn't hesitate to hire her again. Caroline was delight to work with - she made what could have been difficult job extremely pleasant and satisfying. I live in a rather remote area but that did not phase Caroline - she has made numerous site visits before and during the works to ensure all is as it should be. She keenly listens to what I am after, providing excellent suggestions that helped me realise my vision... Caroline focused her expert and experienced eye on my ideas and together we created a beautiful kitchen that functions beautifully. She also assisted on design ideas for bathrooms and other areas of the house. My small but highly functional laundry and storage would not have come into being without Caroline's clever viewing of the space and its possibilities. Caroline was referred to me via a friend who had used her services and had a fabulous looking kitchen as a result of the drawings / design that Caroline had provided. We were really happy with Caroline's services. She is very personable, punctual and extremely knowledgeable in her understanding of the ins and outs of kitchens and we liked that she was also pragmatic. When we met she was very detailed in the questions she asked to ensure she understood our requirements / likes / dislikes. Her approach and attention to detail was refreshing. She provided amazing technical as well visual drawings of what our kitchen would look like. This was presented in a very detailed booklet which included details of every draw and accessory. The turnaround on this was quite fast and on time. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to have their kitchen designed.

We engaged Caroline to design our new kitchen. Our old kitchen was 35 years old so we had definite ideas, or so we thought, about what we wanted in our new kitchen. Caroline was able to show us many new kitchen innovations that she incorporated into her design. Her eye for detail meant that we ended up with a far better kitchen layout than we had hoped for. Her drawings were so complete that kitchen manufacturers could quote without any further queries.

Caroline, who was referred to us by a friend, initially did our design for our kitchen and additional storage in the laundry, bathroom and hallway, and bookcase in the spare room. We were very impressed and happy with her ideas, detailed design and suggestions during the presentation. We decided to ask Caroline to project manage her design, and very happy in the end product. Renovations are never easy and ours were complicated by being an apartment with only one functioning lift, and the many gotchas we did not expect along the way. Nothwithstanding, Caroline and the team worked through this and delivered an outstanding outcome. We would be happy to recommend Caroline for future designs and renovations. We especially would like to praise her cabinet maker and Caesar stone builder, who did an outstanding job.

Caroline, from Interiors Infocus has in depth experience in designing kitchens, including presenting pictures of the planned kitchen from many perspectives. Cooperatively assisting us to vary the first draft plan, she honed the kitchen design to our satisfaction. Once the family agreed on the final plan, Caroline produced the detailed plan and specifications for the kitchen builders to quote for construction and installation. These plans helped in selecting the kitchen company as they all quoted against the same plan for our kitchen. Caroline’s experience and attention to detail was evident to the kitchen cabinet company we selected to build and install our dream kitchen. We’ve received many compliments on our new kitchen, thanks to Caroline’s help and understanding of our requirements. Caroline’s invaluable experience from the appliances, storage solutions and cabinetry resulted in a kitchen the whole family is pleased to use.
