Your home is a special place that should reflect your personality and your lifestyle. I approach every project with this in mind. I listen to my clients to understand the way you live and what you like and don't like. My role as a designer is to take this information, combine it with your space, and create a plan that is beautiful, comfortable, functional and within budget, and then work closely with you to implement that plan. My goal is that you will be absolutely thrilled with the project when we're done! Clients are involved in the design process as much or as little as they choose. Some clients want a complete design package for their review and approval. Others prefer to be very involved throughout the process, sharing ideas, opinions and resources along the way. The choice is up to you! I am very detail oriented, as are the workrooms, vendors and installers that I use. Our focus is always on providing innovative ideas and beautiful solutions for your "design challenges". Along with over a decade of experience, I bring my passion for textiles, color and design to every project. However, my process is easy-going and flexible -- smiling and laughing are definitely involved!

Cathy worked side by side with me on the renovation of an ocean front house which was in dire need of updating from the 1970's wood wall paneling. Both the client and I as the architect, were thrilled with Cathy's suggestions and can't wait to see the finished product when the house is complete in the Fall. I hired Cathy Rowe to oversee a major house renovation project and the results are above and beyond my expectations. She had the respect of the contractor and all the sub-contractors. In fact, there were times when the workmen would ask for her opinion. Her measurements were well thought out and exact. Cathy is up to date on the latest designs, fabrics and materials and she has the ability to integrate the customers likes and ideas into the completion of a project. I highly recommend Cathy Rowe as a designer and/or project manager and you will be extremely pleased with her results.

Cathy helped me choose furniture, fabrics and paint color for my living room, and tile for my kitchen. She also did several room layouts for me on the computer. She has good contacts and knows where to find certain brands. She does a good job making suggestions and tossing out ideas, but does not push her personal opinion on you. She helps you find what you want, not what she wants. She was flexible with scheduling and went along on shopping trips which was very helpful. She is not pushy at all. She understands working within a budget. I can highly recommend Cathy at Well Dressed Interiors.

Cathy Rowe worked with us on several projects since 2010 - blinds for the windows in our home and a shade for the front door; woven wood coverings for two large glass door/window combination entrances; wooden doors with woven wood inserts to cover open bookcases, coordinating with one of the entrances. In each case, Cathy had creative ideas and made excellent suggestions; in particular, she was able to guide us to materials that would work well in the near-the-ocean climate. She monitored closely each installation and the construction of the wooden doors. Each job was very well done. When one of chosen fabrics did not respond as expected in the environment, she identified an excellent replacement and handled its substitution quickly. We are very satisfied customers and would hire her again for any future projects.
