We hired Charlie to build our custom home, which broke ground in December 2018. We worked with an outside architect who produced construction documents that we brought to Charlie, who then bid out the project. What stuck with us from the outset was Charlie's honesty and openness about the process, from start to finish. We really liked that Charlie viewed himself as there to build our dream home, instead of pushing his own preferences on us, like some of the other builders we interviewed. At the end of the day, our gut told us to go with Charlie, which turned out to be a great move. As mentioned above, Charlie is an honest person. He is also open and straight forward. Of course, in a year long build, hiccups will happen but anytime we had a concern about how or why something was done, or even when mistakes were made, Charlie always took responsibility and took care of it. Even now, over a year after we moved in, Charlie always responds and continues to make himself available to us, to ensure we are happy with our experience. If you are looking for a truly "custom" home build, I highly recommend Charlie. Some builders market themselves as custom, but at the end of the day, steer you towards their preferred architect, vendors, subs, etc. Charlie has extensive options for different subs depending on your specific needs, but also is completely open and flexible to the client bringing in their own materials or trades. Lastly, I have to speak to the quality of the build. We absolutely love our custom home and could not be happier with the final product. The materials and workmanship in our home are first class, and we have Charlie to thank for that. This was our first custom home build experience and we felt like picking a builder was a bit like taking a leap of faith. We are happy we picked Charlie to build our home and we would do so again without hesitation.

We hired Charlie for a complete home remodel and were thrilled with his work - new floors and paint throughout, and complete kitchen, wet bar, laundry and baths remodel including updated plumbing. The craftsmanship and professionalism of his suppliers was superb, and working with Charlie was a pleasure. We were very happy and would recommend him.

We hired Charlie Cooper to remodel almost every room in our house - the kitchen, all bathrooms, den, and moved the laundry room upstairs. We were very happy with Charlie and his subcontractors, and they finished the project in the timeframe we agreed upon.

We hired Charlie to remodel our kitchen in our home in West University and a year later hired him to remodel six bathrooms. We were incredibly pleased with the projects! Both were done over the summer and we didn't move out for either. We would definitely hire him again.
