CCR Building and Remodelling

I have nothing negative to say about CCR..The quality and workmanship is impeccable. What they say they are going to do they do, and go above and beyond. This is my third renovation with them, so that in itself speaks louder than words.CCR is very professional with friendly and knowledgeable staff .This renovation was finished before the deadline which had to be as I was moving my Hair Salon into my home..It was the first for CCR but they didn't disappoint ! I love them and won't use anyone else!

CCR totally transformed our dated Colonial-style house into a beautiful open concept home with a highly functional floor plan that now takes advantage of our gorgeous view. I really don't think that any project is too big for CCR! They removed walls, rebuilt rooms, flipped the layout allowing the master bedroom and ensuite to trade places, redesigned and installed new windows, and the list goes on. Even the masonry work looks original and like it was intended to be there in the first place. Besides the beautiful product it is important to mention the people who work for CCR. Arne is an extremely talented designer / builder who listened to our ideas and used imagination to create one of the most important things - a smart master plan. Innovated yet practical, visitors have commented that our home looks like it was meant to be this way. The workers were extremely professional, personable, and the quality of their work was exceptional. Eoin was project manager and became like family. We appreciate the pride and care he put into his work, attention to detail, and timely follow up. All other tradespeople were fantastic as well; there's just too many to mention here!

Pete at CCR is a passionate expert in his field. He identified a lack of insulation in my attic (caused by the original builder) that was causing condensation based water damage. This team knows what they are talking about. Thank you CCR.

Very professional, creative, knowledgeable and timely. They completed an entire gut and rebuild for us in under 6 months. The site was always cleaned up at the end of the day and even the neighbours commented on how clean and respectful all the trades were. Although we went over budget ( no surprise) we could not have been happier with the result. Arne has such a keen eye and came up with ideas that we never would have and utilized every square inch into a very functional one floor "condo alternative". We got to stay in an established neighbourhood in basically a brand new home.

We were selling our home and CCR provided their professional opinion on what updates would be the best in terms of intriguing interested buyers. They did a great job sprucing up the kitchen specifically around painting, new back splash and upgraded counters and island. The end result was fantastic and we sold the home shortly after! The CCR team were very personable and timely in their work. I know this was a small job in comparison to what they typically do, but they never made us feel that way and it was a pleasure from start to end.

CCR Building and Remodelling is/are ...Very professional, Very creative, Very methodical & have a keen eye for the details (Including the budget which is monitored through every stage of the project) ... We hired CCR to design, build and finish our basement (approx. 1400sq.ft.) ...remodel a mud room & separate laundry room (which included tiled floors & two large skylights). The basement included a custom built wooden staircase/handrails with cut glass insets... The foundation walls were cut in three locations to install larger 4'x4' windows... The window wells were re-dug & increased in size to allow for maximum light ...A floating sub-floor was installed on top of an industrial blister-type water/humidity barrier & insulation ...The space was divided into... Art Studio/Hobby Room (built-in cabinets, worktops, sink, double French Doors with cut glass matching the stairwell,) …Gym/Recreational Space (built-in A/V) ...Two sided gas fireplace between Studio & Gym …Bedroom (with walk-in closet, double French Doors with cut glass matching the stairwell & art studio doors) …Bathroom (vanity, shower & wet-sauna) ...Upgrade electrical panel to 200amp service. We were so satisfied with the quality of their design & finished product that 9 years later we are working with CCR again, to remodel the entire main floor of our 2350sq.ft. 22yr. old ranch home :) G. & L. I have used many contractors and CCR is by far the most creative and reliable group i have worked with. They are very sensitive to the customers issues and concerns and their follow up if there are problems is excellent. Many contractors vanish when the work is done. No challenge is too difficult or complex. They make your dreams a reality.

We have worked with CCR through 2 renovations. Our kitchen, which included the removal of a load bearing wall, reconfiguration of workspace and replacement of windows and door was completed on time and on budget. This was also the case with our second renovation where we updated the main living spaces. We found the CCR staff and the trades that work with them to be friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Their attention to detail was impressive and this has resulted in spaces that are functional and welcoming. With both renovations, CCR left the worksite clean at the end of each day and made every effort to normalize our environment as much as possible for the weekends.

My husband and I hired CCR to complete an extensive renovation to our main floor which included re-purposing many of the living spaces. Peder and his team effectively organized the project and maintained consistent communication with us throughout the process. The construction crew were polite and considerate while in our home, and ensured that all messes were thoroughly cleaned before they left at the end of the day. We are thrilled with the final results and would highly recommend CCR to others.

Job 1. 3rd floor attic fully gutted and restored for home office purpose, including foam insulation, windows, drywall, flooring, lighting, electric. Project was especially difficult for workers because of narrow/steep stair access. Scheduling was good and all trades were excellent. Job 2. Kitchen fully gutted and restored, including plumbing, electric, cabinets, counters, flooring, pot-lights. Very pleased with outcome. Job 3. Bathroom. Room is small but was extended several inches into the adjoining room to , provide much needed space. The room was given a further boost by adding 'wow' factors, such as granite counter, stone floor and tub enclosure, high-end plumbing fixtures, mirror sconces, and a peak-through window in bath enclosure provided for a more open feeling. Job 4. Lower level TV area/laundry room/bathroom. Main Room was totally gutted and restored, including new framing, insulation, drywall, pot-lights, stairs, floor. Laundry room - electric panel update, plumbing, flooring. Bathroom - new toilet, sink, all plumbing. OTHER COMMENTS Proposals were very thorough and well-laid-out Projects were generally on-time, on-budget Workers cleaned up areas at end day Workers did their best to respect homeowners space Owner of company made regular on-site visits

My experience with CCR was very positive. We had a reasonably large kitchen renovation that included removing 2 walls, one of which was load bearing. They completed the engineering and secured the permits in a timely fashishion. They started the job on time and were completely finished by the agreed-to completion date. The job site was kept clean at all times and they were mindful of the fact that we were still living in the house during the reno. The job did come in slightly over budget and the overages were related to "surpises" found once the walls were opened up. All extras were itemized and fully explained. All staff and trades related to the project were friendly and professional. The staff at CCR were excellent at communicating the progress of the project and providing updates. The quality of the completed job was excellent and I would use them for future projects.

CCR was very good to work with. We had them line the ceiling of our front porch with cedar, build up the pillars of the porch, add architectural detail to add interest and weight to the peaks of the front of the house. They removed aluminum siding on the front and replaced it with cedar shingles. It totally changed the look of our house. All employees, including the sub trades, who came to the work site were always friendly and accommodating. They took the time to explain what they were doing and they did a very good job cleaning up at the end of each day. Arne was a pleasure to work with. I have no hesitation to recommend them.
