I hired Chris through contractor reference. He was terrible! He had no experience help with him. He had a relative, new to the trade and used his son who just graduated from high school. He refused to honor his written contract. In two weeks time, he managed to work 4-5 mostly part time days before bailing from the job! He messed up spraying the ceilings and had to repaint it by roller several times. They managed to mix-up the lids on the various 5 gallon paint cans that led to wrong paint color/shades over and over again! There was over spray everywhere. He walked away from unfinished job with more money than he was owed.

I am sorry you had a less then great experience with my company. The work was completed as surfaces were made ready. Often times ceilings need to be resprayed or rolled repeatedly to achieve the desired finish. I think the breakdown came when I was asked to paint door casings we were not contracted to paint. There are always grey areas not included in our contracts which are a source of grief and frustration for both the client and contractor. House renovations can be stressful and I apolagise that we obviously couldnt see eye to eye on the issue. We have changed our method of writing up our contracts by itemizing each project to avoid any misunderstandings in the future.
Both you and your wife are wonderful people with a beautiful home. I wish I could of been on the positive side of your experience. If there is something I can do to make it right within reason please dont hesitate to ask.

As a general contractor, working on high end renovations, it is essential to have great painters. Not only in their craftsmanship, but in communication, and coordination, they work hard to bring together a successful project. Chris and his crew, meet deadlines, ensure client satisfaction, and are always quick to respond. I plan to hire Chris Co. again for a couple upcoming projects.

I have hired ChrisCo Painting for the past 8 years. I’ve been a Property Manager & Construction Project Manager for the past 25 years. If I’d met Chris when I started managing properties years ago, I would never need another painter. He is an honest, reliable and conscientious person. Chris always does what he says he is going to do and finishes his jobs on time. His work is professional and pricing is either medium or low, compared to other bids I receive. He has done work in multiple locations over the years. He’s also painted several rental properties as well. As a Property Manager you are always looking for reliable, professional vendors. He epitomizes this and has made my job easier over the years.
