We have just moved into our new home with renovations done by Chris Lorden and company-- 2 new bathrooms and a master bedroom. The final product is beautiful and even better than expected. As first time homeowners, we were told many stories of renovations gone awry, but we were spared those experiences. Christophersen Construction was competent, and timely, with excellent communication and workmanship. Thanks, Chris and crew for your guidance and attention to detail!

Gave this company a chance and was dealing with Todd who kept referring to him and his partner. Didn't realize that the owner is Chris and Todd I guess just works for the company. He is not an owner as he leads you to believe. Todd is a very smooth talker and he will get you comfortable with trying to find connections and make you feel comfortable. I am looking to put my house on the market and it is 12 years old. I need certain things completed around the house and Todd and I did a walk through and he made a list. I received a proposal though a new website as he said I would be a great tester and it allowed him to post before and after pictures. Never saw a picture other than using the site to give him a retainer. That is where the issues begin. I was told that we would draw down on the retainer of $2500 to rip the deck boards off as I had already taken the railings and spindles off myself. Even had a dumpster on site and I told them not to get rid of the wood. I would do that myself to again, keep the cost low. The deck was supposed to be fitted with new PT boards and the railings to be replaced as well. Deck boards are not properly spaced, about 20% of the nails are sticking out on an angle with sharp edges exposed. Several of the railings and the deck boards are junk and it just shows that when the boards were selected NOBODY cared. When you offer a contractor a drink because it is hot out and there is a dumpster on site it is rude and disrespectful to chuck your personal garbage in the pile with the wood scraps. Dumpster is right next to your truck! These guys bask ALL other NH contractors as hacks and that they have to come in behind to fix the mistakes that were left behind. This bold statement is an insult to the very qualified contractors building multi million dollar houses in NH and are from NH. When the deck was done I was told the money was exhausted. Nothing else was left to finish the other jobs in the house. WHAT?!?!?! The estimate I was told by Todd was $1500 for the deck and when I asked for someone to come back to fix the mess I was presented with a refund check of $48.00 and told that the $2500 for PT was an accurate bid. This was a bad deal all the way around and I was taken to the cleaners on this one. Don't get ripped off as I did. I am not done with this issue. At the end of the day this is not a company I would recommend and will post photos of the sloppy work as they are on my phone. Unreal!

Chris and his partner arrived on time, completed the job as described in one day, raked and cleaned the site, and even respected the active bird's nest next to the work area. Chris explained an extra step needed to replace an unexpected rotten siding area before going forward; We feel comfortable and confident that our repair work was done professionally and fully recommend Christopher Construction Company. Working with Christophersen Construction was a pleasure. Chris, our Project Mgr., was very knowledgeable, dependable and punctual. He stayed within the budget we had agreed upon and was extremely professional. Chris was meticulous with the care of my home, his crew maintained a clean workplace. The new bathroom is FABULOUS!!! The workmanship is SUPERIOR. Chris had some great ideas, which we incorporated in the project. I would highly recommend Christophersen Construction for any project.

Chris built a screened in porch and deck for us. He was meticulous, worked with our changes as construction moved forward, and finished within his proposed deadline. We would hire him again for any construction or renovation projects.

I love my kitchen!!! I hired Christophersen Construction for a rather large project. We wanted to take down a supporting wall and open up a doorway into family room. We also were remodeling our kitchen, completely, down to the studs. Oh, and putting in hardwood floors through out those 3 rooms. Christophersen Construction was awesome. I received a detailed estimate and was made aware of any changes, by email if I wasn't home, and Chris was great about coordinating things. The finished product is gorgeous. Construction is never easy, but Chris and his team were wonderful to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.

I found him on houzz and saw he had great reviews. Chris was very responsive and quick in returning my questions and was always on time. He installed a new door and re-did our ugly portico that the previous owner had done himself and gave us exactly what we requested. It did take longer than expected but I would rather have it done slow and right. There was also material order to factor in. But he was deligent in getting it completed. He was very clean and listened to what we wanted and made suggestions when necessary. I was very happy with the work he did and professionalism.

Chris Lorden of Christophersen Construction Company performed work in our home under a VA approved grant. His work can best be described as excellent. Friends and family have praised at his completed work. He was constantly overseeing the subcontractors. He was on schedule and kept us up to date. His choice of subcontractors was right on target. We have now requested that he perform additional work in our home.

Chris Lorden was fantastic. He responded quickly, completed the job much faster than we anticipated, was professional, and he left the site spotless. We couldn't recommend him higher.

Chrisrophersen's work was outstanding, They recently completed structural reinforcement, modification, and re-insulation of my chronically leaking roof. Once the demolition work had been completed the original plan had to be modified. I was very pleased to see how well the structural engineer and construction team coordinated their efforts to deal with the changes needed. I was most impressed with the willingness and patience to explain the technical details and the justifications for the work even to a naïve homeowner. In addition, both I and the structural engineer could not of been happier with the work performed. I unequivocally recommend them and will use Christophersen in the future for other work as needed, in addition to using them as a "general resource" on issues construction related.

I have worked with Chris over the past 3 years on both residential and commercial projects. For this review in particular Chris had to solve a problem for a local chiropractic care company and this problem could not be purchased out of a box. Having seen Chris in action on many occasions, he does a fabulous job of listening to his clients, understanding their issues and helping solve their problem all while working withing their budgets. Case in point with this project review. Chris supplied me with detailed communication, the project vision and did the installation to which the end user could not be happier with his new custom painted cork board / slide-out keyboard CPU centers. Without any reservation, I would hire Chris Lorden of Christophersen Construction Company, LLC for all of your large or small residential or commercial construction needs. Christophersen construction has done multiple projects at my home. A very reliable company, that does the job right. I bought a foreclosed home, that needed some work done. Chris replaced the rotted wood under my mudroom as well as replace the outer deck board joists, etc. Fully insulated the area and it has made an amazing difference in my heating bill. I have also had French doors installed and gutters around the backside of the house. Christophersen construction is professional, reliable and will continue to use them for all my home repairs. M.
