Doug Leake and his team delivered an excellent design for our kitchen remodel. The subs came on time every day and did excellent work. If there was a problem, the problem was quickly resolved to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Custom Kitchens!

The kitchen design, including a cycling cabinet for my husband, the quality of the cabinetry, the detailed and dependable scheduling, the painters, the installers, the electricians and the craftsmen exceeded our expectations. However, it was Melissa whose suggestions and advice made all the difference. We'd highly recommend her and would choose her again for any future projects.

This is the second time we have had Custom Kitchens design a kitchen for us. The first was in 1980. When we decided to redo our kitchen in our second home, I knew that I wanted Custom Kitchens to do the job. We were fortunate to have as our designer Melissa Utt Heatley. We are once again very pleased with the service and quality of work. In choosing Custom Kitchens do the job, we once again made the right decision.

Melissa Heatley helped our new kitchen addition evolve from 2-dimensional ideas to a beautiful space that we intend to enjoy for years. She is a good listener and provided options after incorporating our ideas and style. Her background in architecture was evident in her attention to detail and lines of the project. She helped us select cabinets, cabinet color, hardware, fixtures, sinks, and granite. She met us in the granite yard to help us through an overwhelming experience. Melissa was gracious and helpful and allowed us to ask her opinion as we selected wall paint color and flooring. She made an overwhelming experience feel less stressful. The outcome is more beautiful than we imagined. We will post photographs as soon as we unpack our boxes and organize the space. I cannot recommend a kitchen professional more highly than Melissa Heatley. Cutsom Kitchens is fortunate to have Melissa on their team.

I walked into Custom Kitchens without an appointment in the fall of 2012 and asked to speak to a designer. Melissa Utt Heatley came out to talk to me and we feel extremely fortunate that she did! My husband and I hired her to remodel our kitchen and the experience could not have been better. Melissa is extraordinarily talented, easy to work with, thorough, precise, and knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen and to research and then delivers the kitchen of your dreams. We were so satisfied with her work that we hired her again to remodel the kitchen of our vacation home. Once again, her work is impeccable and the result is first class. I highly recommend her for any of your projects!

Kyle Hendricks helped bring my kitchen design beyond my expectations! Custom Kitchens has the knowledge and professionalism you would want when updating or renovating a major project. They have a wide variety of products to offer and I can't say enough good things about them.

Custom Kitchen transformed our old '70s kitchen into something beautiful! Each and every person from the electricians, the plasterers, the painters, the plumbers and the people who put in our new floor was professional, courteous and thorough. We kept our old cabinets because they are so solid but got new hardware and Custom Kitchen cleaned and degreased them so they look like new. Our neighbors across the street had Custom Kitchen redo their kitchen just before ours and they are as pleased as we are. Kyle, a third generation Custom Kitchen manager, was there every step of the way to see that all details were just right. I'd recommend their work to anyone.

We could not be happier with our new kitchen! We have a 1950's rancher with a small kitchen & Kyle Hendrick, of Custom Kitchens, did a wonderful job redesigning the space. We now have more counter space, more storage, a dish washer & better lighting. Beautiful cabinets, counter tops & flooring----quality materials were used through out. Kyle, his crew & contractors were professional & their workmanship was excellent. We would highly recommend Kyle Hendrick & Custom Kitchens.

My husband and I wanted to do a major renovation of our kitchen. We didn't know exactly what we wanted when we first went to see Melissa at Custom Kitchens, but she gave us the direction we needed and in the end we got the kitchen of our dreams! One very big change was to make a pass-through (sort of a window) looking into the dining room. I had doubts about doing this, but it's fantastic and has really helped open up our kitchen. Her redesign of our space gave us a lot more storage and a nice, large peninsula. Melissa is really a pleasure to work with - warm, friendly, knowledgable, and very professional. She was here everyday to check on the job as it progressed. She spoke up when something wasn't up to her expectations and made sure everything was done correctly. We felt comfortable choosing granite, wall tiles, flooring, etc. because she actually accompanied us to the various shops to pick everything out. We are so glad we chose Melissa, at Custom Kitchens, for our kitchen makeover!

Melissa was simply superb in her organization and advice on our recent kitchen remodel. Her eye for detail, patience, and focus resulted in a beautiful new kitchen that has received raves not only from us, but from the friends and neighbors who have seen it. Melissa's advice was unfailingly excellent; we learned early on to trust her judgement when trying to decide on a particular detail (there were several moments where we really weren't sure what would work best). She always listened carefully as we debated pros and cons of some item, and when we asked, "what do you think?" offered a potential solution that we could agree on. She is wonderful at building consensus! Melissa gave us a schedule early on that clearly showed what work would be done on which day; work began and ended on time and was done beautifully. I would hire Melissa and Custom Kitchens again with great enthusiasm.

My wife and I hired Melissa and Custom Kitchens to redesign our kitchen and we were impressed with them from our first meeting. Melissa was honest about expected costs, designed a kitchen that met OUR wants and needs, and executed the project with attention to detail and time. We were given a detailed timeline calendar that was followed precisely. What we really appreciated, as well, was that our concerns, became Melissa's concerns. The subcontractors used for our project were respectful of time, neatness and craftsmanship. I know, from talking to friends of ours, that kitchen projects can be a nightmare. I can say that besides the obvious disruption of being without a kitchen for 5 weeks (we tore everything out, including the sheet rock from our old kitchen ), our experience was overwhelming positive. I can say that we recommend Melissa and Custom Kitchens without qualification or hesitation. My only regret, to be honest, is that we didn't do the project YEARS earlier. We LOVE our new kitchen EVERY DAY.

Custom Kitchens remodeled my 15+ year old kitchen. They managed the project from beginning to end & did an incredible job! There was constant communication throughout the process & all of the work was professionally performed. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a new project. This was a great experience & I have a beautiful kitchen!
