Building a home had been on my bucket list for years. After seeing a friend's house that was built by Classic Urban Homes, we decided to go for it. From the outset, we were very impressed by Michael's experience level, his knowledge base and the seamless process he had put in place for his clients. Each challenge we faced, (and yes, there will always be some challenges) Michael stepped up with a calm demeanor, creative solution and quick wit to work through any issue. Both he and his seasoned crews were skilled, accommodating and a delight to work with. His partner, Jane, worked diligently to keep us apprised of and on track with the budget. She was also a tremendous asset for design resources and tips. As opposed to the previous horror stories I had heard about building, I don't think we could have had a more enjoyable experience. Every morning I wake up and wonder when I'll stop marveling at the beauty surrounding me in our new home. It hasn't happened yet.

We can't be more pleased with the outcome of our project. Our interactions with the principals, Michael and Jane Turner, were outstanding. We just finished building our dream home with Classic Urban Homes, and we couldn't be happier. CUH was recommended to us by 4 different families we know, none of whom know each other. Michael and Jane were a joy to work with, and brought countless great ideas to help make our home a great place to live. Where we had to do "value engineering" on features or finishes, or when items went out of stock, they came back to us with amazing, well-thought out alternatives and creative solutions. Their experience helped us make smart choices, and move quickly.

We have built two homes with Michael Turner and Classic Urban Homes and we would recommend them to anyone. Building a home is usually one of the most stressful endeavors most people will undertake. It pays huge dividends to have a talented, experienced and trustworthy builder like Michael to partner with. He is particularly good at executing a modern design while offering the best value possible. I like to say he just "gets it." We would look forward to bulding again with Michael.

There are a 1000 decisions to be made when building a custom home. The most important of these is the builder. Choosing Classic Urban Homes was the best decision we could have possibly made. I would have probably had a nervous breakdown if I didn't know Michael was there to take of every detail I could think of. You know he is hands-on there to take of things. Every question I could think of was answered well and quickly. After a while you no longer sweat the details because you know Michael already is. There are many quality builders in Dallas, but I don't think anyway can deliver as much value as Michael. It doesn't matter if your budget is $500,000 or $2m, you will get more quality for your dollar with Classic Urban Homes. We are like several before us. We will gladly show our home to his potential customers, because he deserves it.

Michael Turner with Classic Urban Homes has set himself apart from other Dallas area builders with his capabilities in modern residential construction. As an architect, I understand that achieving quality craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic is difficult to come by with at an affordable price. Michael consistently thinks outside the box to develop sound techniques that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also energy efficient and cost effective. He has a good eye for design and innovative, clean solutions for his clients. Classic Urban is my go-to for a Dallas custom home builder.

The building experience with Classic Urban Homes was great from beginning to end. The builder has great patience through the planning and design phase and made great recommendations for efficiency and functionality. The build phase was without delays and was completed on time. The finished product exceeded expectations. I would most definitely use this builder again.

Classic Urban Homes is completing an "age-in-place" home for us in Dallas, TX which should be ready to move in by June, 2013. The experience has been outstanding and the reputation that preceded our hiring them was well deserved. Their attention to detail and the organization of the process of building from the ground up has been very efficient - in fact, nothing short of amazing. Our contractor is mindful of the budget we agreed upon and has kept us current with the expense reports. The carpenters, painters, plumbers, electricians, cabinet makers, and landscapers have done an outstanding job of creating a home that is energy efficient, water efficient, and beautifully executed from the plans done by our architect. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an extremely competent contractor who is accessible and responsive to his customers' questions.
