Kitchen Renovation - January-April 2023 Deciding to do a full kitchen renovation on our 1885 brick bungalow was an exciting decision for my wife and I to make after purchasing the home in the spring of 2022. With the current supply chain issues and labor shortages we knew that choosing the correct design/build firm was going to be the most important factor in this process for a successful outcome. During our initial meetings with Gina and Jamin (the Colorado Homes and Design/Earth Saving Solutions team) we quickly confirmed that we had chosen the right firm. As a retired executive chef, I had very specific requirements for our new kitchen. Gina took those ideas and presented us with a thoughtful design that incorporated an efficient layout with the premium materials we requested. As the project progressed we were very impressed with the emphasis on quality craftsmanship that Jose (project lead) and his team put into every aspect of our renovation, always making the extra effort to get it exactly right. When you are fully renovating a 135 year old space, you know that you are going to uncover some unexpected issues and we were certainly no exception. After some trail and error with our communication process, we dialed in our communication process between the whole team. We were able to navigate any and all issues quickly and move forward toward our project completion. From design to pre-con to final walk-through this team stepped up and made our dream kitchen a reality. We hired Colorado Homes and Design to remodel our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Chris and Jamin were amazing throughout the entire process. They helped us make big decisions, small decisions and sometimes we just let them make the decision and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT. They stayed within our budget and completed the entire remodel 2 weeks early!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I hired Colorado Home & Design/ Earth Saving Solutions to redo my kitchen. The consultation was scheduled easily and quickly. Jamin was the PM and was exceptional to work with. I wavered about taking down a wall and Jamin walked me through process and offered guidance as I made a decision. He was generous with his time, super responsive in communication and his expertise was invaluable throughout the process. There were some delays with subcontractors around the holidays, but Jamin got involved to iron everything out and make sure the job got done in time and that I was fully satisfied. Love my kitchen- Can’t recommend COH&D/Earth Saving Solutions enough and will use them again in future home projects.

The pictures I added show before and after from the same location. This company did outstanding work! Steve Wienstroer was my designer and was incredibly patient as I can be very indecisive. He listened well to what I would want and created an unbelievable beautiful space for me within my budget. The details in his design were spot on, and his communication was amazing where he would get back to me with all of my questions in a VERY timely manner! Steve, the project manager and the contractor all worked together to get me a dream space all within my budget. The entire project only took about 7 weeks, which included taking down walls and vaulting part of my ceiling. The overall communication was amazing, where I always felt taken care of and all questions answered daily. As minor issues arose, they took care of them immediately without hesitation. I am in love with my new space!

We just remodeled our Westminster home and updated the Kitchen from 1982 to 2021 and very happy with the end product. Gina was the designer on our project and after a few meetings of back and forth on the design we landed on the perfect design. The finished product was spot on to the design. Communication with the team was wonderful throughout using a group text chain, so if the project manager was busy or on another project the Owner (Jamin) and Gina were on the text chain to make sure any scheduling or construction issues were addressed timely. The project was fairly seamless for the quantity of work completed. Gina's team completed moving water lines for the sink, running gas lines to upgrade the stove, demoed a wall dividing two rooms, installed wood floors, painted walls/ceiling, upgraded lighting/switches, drywall repair and texturing walls, moved HVAC registers, installed cabinets, installed appliances, custom countertops, and installed a custom window.

I had a great experience with Colorado Homes and Design. They did a huge project and helped me keep the costs down. They responded quickly to every concern I had and resolved it to my satisfaction. I was at work almost the entire time the project was underway and in general, my home was treated with respect. The quality of their work was excellent and I am very pleased with the quality.

Colorado Homes and Design just completed a kitchen remodel for us. Steve, the designer, was very professional and knowledgeable in taking our vision for the kitchen and working with us to select the materials to make it our dream kitchen. He provided the time and guidance and helped us to stay within our budget. We would highly recommend him for any remodeling project. Ben and Jamin, the construction managers, ensured the project was completed on schedule and finished appropriately.

Needed a new look in my dining room and laundry room. Had Colorado homes and design come and add a water fall counter tops and quartz shelf over the top of my washer and dryer. Love the ideas and the timing to completion. Will be having them supply cabinets and design services for my kitchen upgrade.

They were very tuned in to what WE wanted the end result to look like. Gina was awesome helping us with the design, cabinet selection and layout, and product sourcing. Jamin and Ben made sure the dream became a reality with a detailed estimate, plan, and regular communication. They have a quality crew getting each step completed. Ben was diligent about checking that the work was done properly, and that they kept to the timeline. The most important thing... they did what they said they would do!! We will definitely use them again when we tackle our next project!! We LOVE our new kitchen!!

Colorado Homes and Design has made an amazing difference in my family's life. We are extremely pleased with all the work they did in our bathroom and our kitchen. Chris and Phil were nice and very knowledgeable about what to do in order to get my ideas in motion. The initial consultation was reasonable and straightforward. There were no hidden fees or surprise upcharges, and everything was done ahead of schedule. I like to work with people like these guys because they bring a good vibe to the job while enjoying what they do. They were punctual and ready to go as soon as they showed up! Everything was done the right way and we are so happy with our renovations because our house looks just the way we wanted. We had our bathroom remodeled by Colorado Homes & Design and we are very happy with it. I was a bit indecisive and met with Gina; the designer, at their showroom 3 times to make my selections and she never made me feel rushed. They are awesome and very helpful.

They remolded my home here in Denver were very professional and efficient ... they did ultra craft cabinets in my kitchen and really turned my home in to my dream home ! I can’t say enough about these guys !!! I’m a realtor and I always recommend them to new home buyers ! Their designers were very helpful and knew what I wanted without me even saying so ! This general contractor really Came through for me and my family. Their showroom was spectacular! Exceeded my expectations ! Can’t imagine going anywhere else

We just had new countertops put in and our kitchen looks amazing. I’m not a person to leave a bad review or take away a star over a couple communication errors but that would be my only feedback recommendation. Everything was great but the communication could have been a little better. Thank you!

I recently remodeled my kitchen and couldn't be more pleased with the final result. My designer, Julie Booth, was incredibly patient and professional with helping me make selections. I really loved her taste and the creative eye she had all while keeping me within my budget. Honestly the whole project was flawless from start to finish and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend her service, thanks again Julie for the wonderful experience!

Updated review: I previously left a one star review because the in-house designer I had started working with quit her job while I was waiting for a quote from her. No one contacted me from the company, I slipped through the cracks. After leaving a review of this experience, I was contacted by the owner of the company, and I have started working with a new designer. So far, it is a very good experience and those involved are trying to make up for the mistake. I hope I can update with a "5 star" when my project is completed.

I highly recommend calling Chris and Colorado Homes & Design before anyone else. He is great to work and he wants to work with you to make sure the work is done correctly. Before calling and working with Chris, I never called for a quote and had the work completed within a week. He had the quote and work completed, stucco repair and whole home exterior paint, in 4 days. It looks fantastic and it way exceeded my expectations. Thanks Chris and Colorado Homes & Design.

Chris Hock, and Colorado Homes & Design remodeled an entire home for me that I was flipping in Golden, Colorado. I have been flipping homes for over 10 years now, and this was by far the largest and most comprehensive remodel that I have ever tackled. CHD made the process smoother and the finished produce was outstanding to say the least. Consequently we sold it for the highest price in the neighborhood by a couple of hundred thousand dollars. CHD, you guys ROCK!

Recently hired Colorado Homes and Design to work on remodeling my home in Denver, and I was pleased by not only the outcome, but how smooth they made the process. I was looking for a home remodeling contractor that could help me with a home I bought that needed a lot of loving, and wanted a remodeling contractor that could do everything in house. Looking at other kitchen and bath showrooms and general contractors, I found Chris Hock and his team of interior designers provided the best design concepts, wholesale pricing, and customer service. White quartz countertops, engineered quartz countertops, Cambria, granite, blue quartz countertops, the list goes on, I found that the Colorado Homes & Design kitchen and bath showroom had everything I could imagine plus more, as well as a designer paired from the start to help you every step of the way. I would highly recommend you check out their kitchen and bath showroom that is open to the public, and walk in sometime. I will be using CHD as my go to home remodeling contractor for any future home remodeling and home renovation needs.

Nothing is perfect or I would give them 5 stars. Ashlie was very professional, she gave me ideas on the design of my kitchen I could have never imagined on my own. The workers are very friendly and knew what they were doing. There was a small problem with the remodel and it was taken care of to my satisfaction immediately. I would hire this company again as the job they did was excellent.
