Our building division builds the house and our interior design division creates the beautiful home that functions perfectly for the people who live there. And how we do that is through juxtapositions, which we love. We look at juxtapositions in nature: the texture of tree's rough bark and its smooth leaves; the colors of sunsets -- those vibrant reds & oranges and the pale pinks and purples. These lead to a style that's...Timeless, and also fresh, at the same time. It's casual and polished. It's peaceful, and at the same time, energizing. We create interest with carpentry, use furniture for comfort, and work with color for relaxation -- and in the artwork we choose, our goal is to inspire. The Cottage Company provided their design services and project managed a reconstruction of our condo in Naples, Florida. We were extremely pleased with the results. Our home is beautiful and we are complimented by everyone who enters the front door. Vee Mossburg helped us design the plans and manage the job while we were 1500 miles away. It was her vision and creativity that helped us select the materials, the furniture, the accessories, the colors, virtually every aspect of the final product. Another important thing to us was that she stayed within our budget. We now have a home we love and we owe it all to the Cottage Company.

From the moment we called the Cottage Company of Harbor Springs, we knew that this was the company for us. My husband and I had purchased a spec house on a beautiful golf course a few years back as a vacation home and we were ready to transform it into the quintessential Michigan cottage. We knew what worked and what needed to change in terms of the layout, and we also wanted the beautiful moldings and quality construction that we had seen in other cottages done by the Cottage Company. It is almost impossible to provide enough superlatives on the entire team that we worked with. This is a company that is totally about exceeding customers' expectations. They are so accommodating, client-focused and willing to go the extra mile in every situation.

In our married life my husband and I have built 4 houses and the Cottage Company of Harbor Springs built for us, number 4. We had walked through one of the Bay Street Cottages to look at workmanship first hand; and, looked over their numerous other housing projects on-line before actually contacting them in person. We've always been totally pleased and confident as our house progressed in construction. Jill Nuding, was ALWAYS, available for questions and concerns. They are knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, thoughtful, precise, just..... top notch builders. If you have a budget, they will stick with it. That pleased my husband more then it pleased myself. I would by far use them again or certainly recommend them to anyone looking to build or remodel a house.

The Cottage Company of Harbor Springs built our cottage on Walloon Lake. Having no experience building it was important to hire a builder that we felt comfortable with and one that would work with us to create our northern dream home. Their focus on details and workmanship set them above the other builders we considered. We worked directly with Jill Nuding during the entire process. Her knowledge and experience made our project fun. She respectfully helped us make wise decisions that we now are happy we made. We are very pleased with the final project, would definitely use them again and can comfortably recommend them for any building project.

The Cottage Co. reconstructed and finished the inside of our home to include bathrooms, refiguring walls and rooms, small structural changes to the kitchen, fireplace changes with built in cabinets, ceilings and flooring. I worked mainly with Jill Nuding who was pleasant , professional, a stickler for details, creative, flexible and coordinated all of the trade with precision. We were living out of state during the project and felt extremely comfortable with Jill handling the project. She kept us well informed as to the progress of the project. Top notch customer service and top notch workmanship! We were very satisfied with the results of our project.

My husband, daughter and I used the Cottage Company of Harbor Springs to renovate our log lake house on Walloon Lake in Michigan. We were completely satisfied and are very pleased with our renovated home. The project was quoted in a timely manner with specific details and prices itemized. We were given very good estimates on completion and kept updated at all times. We had two separate renovation projects and each were completed on time and early also. We were very happy with using them for both construction and design services. All the Cottage Company personnel and management are very professional, respond promptly to all requests and questions, and are a pleasure to work with. Details are always covered and if there was a delivery problem or a particular part of the project was out of stock or discontinued, we were told in a quick and timely manner with the ability to make other choices. There ability to supervise contractors and take care of our home during the renovation was A1 top notch. We appreciated all the construction and design suggestions we were given when planning our renovation and building knowledge and construction ideas were invaluable.

We hired Cottage co builders and Interior Design to completely remodel and furnish our lake front home. It was a pleasure working with talented visionary people.They were always seeking our "wishes and desires". They were always professionaland delivered a great product. They recommended and used high quality finishes and products. Kelly was youthful, talented and energetic. Fun to work with. You could tell they all enjoyed their jobs. We have no regrets and much praise.
