We hired Creating Contrast Design to help with styling our great room. Claire directed us to Karen and they were both fantastic to work with. Karen provided us with two 3D drawings of our room and she nailed our style. From the colours to the fabrics, everything was perfect. We have small children and she designed a room that we can enjoy as adults and with materials we didn’t have to worry about with kids. She also designed a fantastic crafting nook for the kids, where we now spend much of our time. Karen was prompt on deadlines and patient while we considered different options. The aftercare was also fantastic. We had an issue with one of the rugs provided and she went above and beyond to fix it. We have had many compliments on our new space and have already recommended Karen and Claire to a number of friends. Thank you for our beautiful room!

Remodelling my kitchen makes me very nervous as it is such a huge, detailed undertaking. Claire was extremely organized and diligent in taking me through the process, answering any questions and concerns I had. The concepts she ended up presenting were amazing, both a floor plan and comprehensive video were provided as well as the further detailed work of paint colour, floor finish, art to hang and all the little touches I never really thought of. Although one of her concepts was a little out of my conservative comfort zone, this is the design we are going with as it was just so creative and well thought out to make the most of the space I am working within. She was very clear as to what services she could offer me and what the costs would be, which gave me great confidence in her. She responded promptly to my emails and helped motivate me to get things moving. She met me, toured my house and figured out my style preferences and created some fantastic designs that incorporated all of my wishes. She also helped me to find a general contractor. We hired Claire to design a bathroom for us. We had just moved into our home and it was the first project we wanted to do - though we wanted to work with someone who could provide us with a bigger vision of how the bathroom could be integrated into future projects. Claire was professional, pleasant and prepared. From our first meeting, I could already tell that she captured our style and would be easy to work with. She delivered everything on time and has offered great advice, not just for the bathroom, but how we can improve and update our home in the years to come. I am someone that is not a natural at this stuff, and get overwhelmed quite easily with too many options. Claire completely took the stress out of it. We look forward to working with her again!

Claire designed two bathrooms for me. She was excellent at translating my vague ideas and dreams into concrete designs. For my upstairs main bathroom, the only item I knew I wanted was the countertop. She designed around it and created a lovely spa-like feel for the whole bathroom. I highly recommend Claire - she is an excellent designer, response to her clients' needs, professional, and delivers on her promises. I do not hesitate recommending her. I myself will hire her for other projects.
