Elizabeth Bolognino, Allied ASID, is an Interior Designer based in New York City. She offers interior design/decoration services, interior architectural design services, and custom furniture design. She has experience in residential, retail and hospitality interiors. Elizabeth begins each project with a hands on approach, from concept to completion. Prior to founding EBI, Elizabeth was a designer at award winning hospitality firm Yabu Pushelberg, collaborating on high end international retail & hotel projects. She also worked at Ralph Lauren on the design team of International & Domestic flagships. Ralph Lauren projects completed include: 888 Madison Ave NYC, RL Seoul Korea, Malibu RLX, & Greenwich flagships. Elizabeth received a Masters in Interior Design from the Pratt Institute, which consistently ranks #1 for Graduate Interiors by US News & World Report. Born a Georgia girl, she chased love to New York and happily lives in Brooklyn with husband Justin, daughter Chloe, and dog Charlotte Mingus. She is an allied member of ASID, American Society of Interior Designers. She is also a member of the Design Leadership Network.

Having worked with a few other interior designers previously (more and less expensive), Elizabeth has got "it". She is the most organized and detail oriented designer we have ever worked with and extremely smart to boot. Elizabeth is quick and attentive at all hours of the day, but more importantly she understands contemporary, refined design and she was able to help us step out of our comfort zone in some areas and deliver rooms that completely reflect us. For our Tribeca home, we wanted a cool downtown, design forward environment but we also needed it to be functional for us and our two young children. She nailed it! We couldn't imagine working with anyone else!

I was VERY lucky to stumble across Elizabeth's web page while looking for an interior designer about 2 years ago. Through every aspect of my project, stretching well over a year and a half as we gut renovated a pre-war upper east side apartment, her attention to detail, planning, execution, and of course overall eye and design sense was all well above anything I could have expected. As a very busy professional, I have complete confidence in Elizabeth's ability to execute and pull all of the details of my apartment together. She created color boards with multiple choices, working with both myself and my husband to create truly individual and special rooms. We took some interesting design risks such as green and while marble in the entry way, a blue lacquer kitchen and a grey and red striped bedroom felt wall covering. Elizabeth took us in directions that I had not expected, and ended up loving! I have nothing but the highest of praise for her creative design sense, attention to detail and work ethic.

It has been a pleasure working with Elizabeth over the last several months! She is an incredible designer and is transforming our space into something unique and truly “us”. We have a small two bedroom and it was important to us that every space not only be beautiful, but also livable. She has worked with us to carefully select items to accommodate our needs and budget without sacrificing style. I am thrilled with the results so far and am certain we will have our dream apartment once completed!

Subject Matter

Elizabeth approached us as she wanted to place work from one of our artists in a project she was working on (a Tribeca loft in NYC). It was an absolute pleasure working with Elizabeth to achieve her vision for this space. She was focused and precise, and the end result was beautiful. Our artist was delighted to see his work in such an attractive setting, and I imagine the client must have been thrilled. We would highly recommend working with Elizabeth if you are looking for an interior designer. We'd also highly recommend working with her if you are an artist or gallery as she really understands how art can transform a room.

We have a busy life with 3 small children and had the need for cosmetic interior refresh and makeover of our 10 year old, 3 bedroom condo. We love our space but wanted to move on from original colors and give it some sophisticated drama and new colors. Elizabeth stepped in and really encouraged us to go for it and follow our gut - and what could be a risky process was so lovely and comfortable ! We are so excited with how the space evolved into its new more grown up itiration and Elizabeth really knows her stuff in terms of all latest finishes , metals , hardware , colors etc. Her designs are comfortable and warm but let you push cool boundaries into making your space more than you could imagine! It also doesn't hurt that she is a pleasure and very fun to work with !!

Elizabeth designed and coordinated the gut renovation of our TriBeCa apartment. She also decorated the apartment with care and a wonderful sense of style. It was a long and large project but Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with and in the end delivered an amazing space both from the hard finishes to the soft decorating. I would of course, hire her again.

In my opinion the best designer in NYC. She has exquisite taste and is a pleasure to work with. I searched for a designer for quite some time, and couldn't find Elizabeth's contemporary yet warm and sophisticated style anywhere else. We love our place and we are constantly getting compliments from people that come over. Besides being great at her job, she also has a great attitude and is always fun to be around.

Elizabeth did a wonderful job in our apartment in Manhattan. She has the right resources to get the job done. We had custom furniture made that turned out impeccable, custom upholstery that is simply stunning and window treatments that look amazing. She is a pleasure to work with, stayed on budget and understood that I can only splurge on a few items and not everything. We incorporated a lot of decorative items that I already had and thus the apartment feels like home to me. She didn't copy somebody else's style/apartment but came up with something that is simply "us". She listens to your ideas and makes them a reality. It's great to work with a professional that has the experience to know what works in a space and what is needed. I am very satisfied with her work and can recommend her 100%. She made a floor plan and a detailed budget so we know what we would get into. Also, no detail is to small for her, down to the door hardware that can make a difference to how a room looks. I would be happy to work with her again on another project.
