We met Erika in December 2014 as we were going to embark on a major renovation of main floor and second floor. Erika took us through each room and made wonderful suggestions. She spent more time with us than expected and covered off almost everything. Her ideas are perfect, simple and doable. We walked away from one meeting much more confident about the reno. We have used a multitude of Erika's ideas and will post some photos once we are done. We highly recommend Erika for any/all design ideas, and in fact hope to work with her again! Erika and Fia have worked on three projects for me and in each case the process and outcome were outstanding. On process, design can be intimidating, but I find Erika makes it approachable, understandable and collaborative. But make no mistake, she's all business. Background work and planning are thorough, design exploration is well-researched and 'strategic' (she listens to, and really understands what you want), execution is managed impeccably, and the administration is completed professionally and accurately. But most importantly, the design is second to none. I was extremely impressed with the background work Erika put into our projects, having researched the latest design trends from around the world, and then applying what made sense. She pushed my limits in the best possible way. I could not be happier with the finished designs, and I often think, seriously, I want to maintain the beauty of the rooms in order to respect the work she put into them.

High recommendations! Even though our particular job was not that extensive, Erika treated it with great professionalism and creativity as if she were designing a whole house. She developed some simple and attractive elements that helped us to upgrade our living/dining area into a beautiful space. Erika was understanding of our budget constraints and was straightforward about costs. In addition, she welcomed our input and kept us regularly informed on the status of the job. Extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of interior design and has excellent working relationships with tradespeople.

I worked with Erika as her sales rep at ELTE for many years, and I must admit, she was always a strong favourite of mine. Truly a breath of fresh air, her enthusiasm, energy, efficiency and off-the-charts creativity, taste and design skill, were inspiring. People like her she make you want to up your own game. Working with many designers, the key factors to me which separate the good from the bad are the ability to make your personal preferences secondary to those of your clients to focus on their needs and wants, the ability to make the process fun and connect with your clients so they believe and understand you have their back and only their best interest at heart, and the ability to think outside the box and see the vision of a space and make it happen working within a clients budget, time frame, etc. And exquisite taste, of course. Well, Erika not only checks all these boxes but she would be my definition of them. Anyone would be crazy not to hire her, if I were to do my own place, she would, without a doubt, be my first call.

After living in our new house for years we had come the realization that the main floor(kitchen, living room, dining room and powder room) was not a functional space for us. Knowing that it was going to be a fairly large renovation we called in FIA Interiors to help us make our dream a reality. Over many years, it has been my privilege to work along side Erika, at Fia Interiors, recommend her to my clients and hire her myself. Erika was wonderful to work with. She took the time to understand my needs and my vision and was then able to translate that into pieces that worked fabulously. But aside from her design prowess, Erika continuously went over and above to ensure that I was happy with everything. She managed everything from ordering the fabric to being present to manage the delivery and install. She also managed all the work that required a handy man. She also surprised me months after everything was done with a piece that I had fallen in love with but by the time we went to purchase it it was no longer avail. She managed to find it months later and brought it by! Overall, I can't say enough about Erika and would recommend her to anyone looking for a talented interior designer.
