Established in 1932, Ross Thiele & Son is a third generation family business and one of the oldest interior design firms in San Diego. Since 1932, Ross Thiele & Son, Ltd. has been serving the San Diego area and other cities across the country, with three generations of family members and over 75 years of experience. Dedicated through the years to providing service for our clients and quality through the workrooms and companies we represent, Ross Thiele & Son strives to attain complete customer satisfaction. Our design services are tailored to meet the specific needs of our client, whether it is selection of fabric for upholstering a sofa, or complete interior plans for new construction. We are available for consultation, space planning, and the complete process of design development implementation on an hourly basis. Elizabeth and her crew are fantastic! I've worked with them on several different projects from as large as a whole house, furniture, paint, window coverings, etc. to a job as small as a table replacement, and they are always highly talented and professional. Elizabeth has an amazing eye for color, fabrics, and textures and is very easy to communicate with. Can't wait for the next project!!

It's was a joy working with Elizabeth and continues to be so. She is a superb listener and has excellent taste. Her knowledge is impressive; her sources are outstanding. No job is too small. Elizabeth established remarkable rapport with the architect and contractor - the 3 made a great team. We continue to call upon her for updates and tweaks. It was our goal to assemble the quintessential beach house and she did it. Even after all these years guests are impressed with our comfortable, unpretentious home. We highly recommend Elizabeth without any reservations.

Ross Thiele & Son is a highly creative and professional team led by Elizabeth who is an award winning designer and an absolute joy to work with. I have had the pleasure to work with them on a few projects and I love how they listen to my criteria and provide consultation and unique solutions. This is not a one size fits all design team. When your project, no matter how large, is completed you will feel that it was tailored for you and the finished design is very special. They can help with new construction, renovation, floor space and room flow, custom furniture and fabric selection. Soup to nuts!

Elizabeth and her team are as good as they come--In fact, better. We connected last year on a custom home that she played a key role in designing. While we navigated a complicated and demanding escrow and construction process, Elizabeth displayed the utmost grace, professionalism, patience, and kindness. Her pedigree of good design and class resonated in the choices she made, the guidance she offered, and the attention to both the big picture and the finest of details. Everyone at Ross Thiele & Son proved good communicators, engaged in their work, and talented. The opportunity to live in a home that Elizabeth has had a hand in designing is something for which we will always be grateful.

I have worked with Elizabeth for the past two years on various remodeling projects - reupholstering, new tables, chairs, chandeliers, fabulous draperies. Once she meets you and sees your home, she just gets it! I could never have been exposed to the depth of resources she has at her finger tips. Honestly, hiring her was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Of note, if you are on a budget, she does not try to up-sell you.

Outstanding professionals! Wonderful sense of design. They created the look and feel that I wanted. They have access to exquisite antiques and art. Their shop on Girard is wonderful, wonderful!!!!
