FMN gardens was founded by award-winning landscape garden designers Roman and Harry, experts in helping you create your ideal garden and build an environment you want to be in and share with your family and friends. We are happy to help you with any kind of garden work, including design, construction and maintenance. We can work on your design brief (should you already have one) or start from scratch, offering creative ideas and working together to design your perfect garden. We work with a wide range of materials such as slate, limestone and sandstone and take great pleasure introducing water features and integrating lighting into our designs for your garden to feel just as homely at night as it does by the day, so you can enjoy its maximum potential! Having qualified as Landscape Designers, we have both had the joy of transforming gardens all across London for over a decade.

Harry and Steve have turned my garden into a fantastic new space. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are reliable, professional, honest and really pleasant to have around. I loved that Harry really listened to what I wanted and kept checking I was happy with how things were done - I actually felt I could have said something if I wasn't happy. The standard of work is brilliant and I am so pleased with how the garden has turned out. Having had a couple of quotes from other companies I can also confirm that they are very reasonable for the quality of work they offer.

Roman and team recently completed a complete overhaul of our north London garden. The key feature was a bespoke 6x5m garden room alongside a new decking area, pergola, curved beds, a stepping stone path and masonry work on our existing patio. The team worked professionally throughout despite some challenging weather. Roman was flexible through the build as the design evolved and communication was always quick and transparent. The service has a bespoke and personal touch and everything has been finished to a top quality standard. I’d highly recommend Roman and FMN gardens.

Reno 2021

I hired Harry to install new front and rear gardens for my house after two years of total renovation. During this process I've hired eight suppliers to do everything from architecture to structural steels to installing an air source heat pump to lighting design. I have to say Harry and his colleague Steve have been some of the best suppliers I've ever hired. Harry was direct and hardworking from the start, and dealt well with a job that expanded significantly from the original brief after we discovered a builder's yard of old rubble hiding under the soil. Him and Steve worked for two months through a wet winter, doing the hard, heavy work of taking out tonnes of old soil, often by hand, and replacing it with new topsoil, before installing a new terrace, lawn, edging, planting and irrigation. I'm a demanding client and changed my designer's design a few times, we also had products delayed, yet Harry remained flexible. His work is excellent, particularly the hard landscaping and masonry. FMN kept a positive attitude, are trustworthy and were careful of my house's interior, and it was a great process to work with them.

Roman and his team completed a job for me in Bounds Green in November 2023. This involved landscaping the whole garden including taking out most of the existing plants, turf and replacing two patios and relaying borders and the new lawn. I am so pleased with the result which has transformed the garden and given it a new and pleasing shape. I am delighted with the garden. Lee and Nick and others in the team were so thoughtful and helpful and made sure that their work had minimal effect on the rest of the house. To say I am happy would be a real understatement. I really appreciated the thoughtful way that Roman made his plan taking into account my ideas but made them a reality with great attention to details. I can't recommend them enough.

We had an incredibly positive experience working with Harry and FMN Gardens to renovate our front garden. From the outset Harry was incredibly generous with his time, coming over to see the site and speak with us to get a really good understanding of what we were after. He provided us with a series of initial plans/sketches which he then further refined after we'd given initial feedback. He listened carefully and was very patient as we deliberated over the different options. When it came to the build Harry and Steve were a pleasure to have on site every day. They asked questions throughout to check that we were happy with the work, very accurately managed our expectations around time and budget (it was absolutely as quoted) and left the site very day in a fantastic condition (particularly given the amount of work they were doing). We were thrilled with the final product which is testament to their skill and craftsmanship. We can't recommend highly enough.

Harry helped us to design and landscape our front and rear gardens. We enjoyed working with Harry throughout our project and he was very helpful in agreeing our design and provided a very detailed quote for his work. He even worked with us to try and reduce costs where possible which was much appreciated after coming to the end of a long extension project. Harry and his team were professional throughout and got the work done on time and as quoted. We would have no reservations recommending them to others.

Harry and Steve were a absolute pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond to make sure the whole project was seamless from start to finish. Our flat is on the ground floor, and the entrance to the garden is through the flat, so we were very apprehensive about the mess and disruption it would cause us each day. That being said, it was left completely spotless and accessible! We had quite a strict budget and Harry made sure that this was met - even when the foundations caused a few hiccups. Do not hesitate to use FMN!

I can’t begin to describe how amazing FMN gardens are. The job they did to our garden is exactly what I hoped for and more. We worked with Harry developing the idea and solving loads of issues we had because of the existing garden. Nothing was straight to begin with and Harry worked his magic to make it perfect. He came up with a solution to every issue my garden threw at him. His attention to detail and professionalism is comparable to none. They way they left our garden after all work was done actually was better then before they came! He also suggested several ideas making the garden come together perfectly. The work even got done before the timeline he gave us which was an added bonus! They also worked with our Nextdoor neighbors keeping them very happy throughout the process.in addition to working with our neighbors, they worked with our green wall supplier to streamline the process. Special shout-out to vistafolia for the beautiful green wall. I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Truly the best choice we’ve ever made with any housework we’ve done. Thank you Harry and Steve for the beautiful garden you’ve given us.

They took their time throughout to make sure the level of their work was done to a high standard. Roman and Dmitri were very good to deal with throughout, communication was always very good and they were very insightful and I enjoyed picking their brains on ideas for the garden.

We could not be happier with the work done by Harry and his team. The work we had done was a large and ambitious decking project and roof terrace and from start to finish the planning, communication and end result was first class. Harry's team treated our house with respect, were never late, worked exactly to schedule and were professional in every regard. The project was completed on time and through some pretty adverse weather conditions which was greatly appreciated as our garden now looks lovely and ready for the new year ahead! FMN Gardens have just completed our garden project, and they have done a fantastic job. The team were friendly, efficient and skilled. We are thrilled with the garden, works included a corten and timber screen, carpentry, decking, two composters, a retaining wall, lighting, laying turf and planting. The project was completed well within programme, some clever problem solving took place and the team was considerate in making sure the house was clean every evening.
