Why "Full Fathom Five"? Shakespeare wrote a play called "The Tempest" in which magic, artifice, deep feeling, long knowledge, and wit combine to bend reality and shake up an intolerable situation. I love the themes of the play, and its famous song, beginning, Full fathom five thy father lies; Of his bones are coral made; Those are pearls that were his eyes: Nothing of him that doth fade, But doth suffer a sea-change Into something rich and strange. It's a teasing song, as no one's father has really been drowned, and it captures just what I hope for in every project--a sea-change, a rich and satisfying result, a Place that gives a lift to the heart. With art, color, and texture, with rich and real materials, I help clients achieve spaces that resonate. What have you been reading, or watching, that thrills you, what are the images and poems that you wish to inhabit? We'll pay close attention to function and universal design along the way (I do have a degree in the nuts and bolts, and years of experience in remodeling). With one home base in Washtenaw, and another in Leelanau.

Noelle helped me to design my dream bathroom. Not only does she have wonderful ideas, she listens very carefully to what I want as a concept. We went to the Design Center together where she both helped to select ideas (through the many choices) and watched to see what I reacted to. She was attentive to my budgetary constraints and helped navigate tricky questions with contractors in a timely manner. In the end, I have a beautiful bathroom that makes me happy every time I go into it. Noelle is a consummate professional, has many sources for wonderful, creative design products and individuals who do amazingly creative work and she has increased my confidence in selecting materials to create a desired living space.

Noelle was the best money we spent on our kitchen remodel. She helped make a daunting project easy. She has a keen eye for color. And while we knew what we wanted in the overall look, Noelle thought of details that helped us tie everything together. She was flexible and catered to our taste. We would definitely recommend her services.

Every time (seriously, every single time) I walk into the bathroom that Noelle redesigned for us, I feel refreshed, invigorated, and inspired - I had no idea a room could do that for a person! A warm and welcoming woman, Noelle worked with us and our humble budget to transform our dingy yellow and beige 70's-era bathroom into a white and blue modern masterpiece. (I even caught the tile guy taking pictures of the room when he was all done - it's so gorgeous!) Hiring Noelle was easily the best decision we made for our home and we can't wait to see her ideas for our kitchen remodel.
