The level of customer service, attentiveness and thoughtfulness I received from Glenn, Heather and their entire team was off the charts. I've remodeled 11 homes, and by far, this was the easiest because of Glenn. I am so grateful - and their workmanship is fantastic! The counters they installed are so large and the seams are not visible. Thank you so much!!

Love these guys! Did two jobs 6 months apart, my kitchen counter tops (quartz) and master bath vanity top (granite). Professional, timely, they really do a great job, from helping you pick out stone, to installation. One more bathroom to go, and I will want them to do it for sure.

From the moment I contacted them to the completion of my job, I was thoroughly pleased with ESC. I emailed them initially on a Friday afternoon, we conversed by email on Saturday, and I had come in, picked out my stone, and placed my order Monday morning. The measurer was a pleasure to work with, my order was ready in a very reasonable amount of time, and the installers were friendly, efficient, and did a beautiful job.

After much research for a granite installer in the Charlottesville area to replace my laminate kitchen countertops, speaking with reps from three or four other companies and getting an in-home estimate from one other company, I chose European Stone Concepts and am so glad I did. Getting a quote was easy: they provided me with thorough, prompt information without any high-pressure sales tactics. When I selected the granite, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the process was very clear. Setting up the in-home measurements was easy, and I was impressed that the granite was ready to be installed exactly on the day they predicted. The quote was the most thorough I received; all contingencies were very clearly stated. The actual install was extremely fast; the installers were courteous and didn't leave behind any mess. Better yet, the final cost was exactly what they estimated. Given the very competitive price, I'm happy with the installation and quality of the product. If you're looking for an efficient, professional process and a low price, I would definitely recommend ESC.

Great experience from start to finish. Glenn and Heather worked with us on picking the perfect slab. From the plumbers, to the measurement to the installers, everyone was perfectly on time and professional. They did not “oversell” us but helped walk us through the process. They called ahead of time to schedule and made our life easier. The kitchen counters turned out beautifully. I recommend this team at ESC to anyone looking to upgrade their counters.

We got several estimates for kitchen countertops and not only was European Stone Concepts the lowest, they were also the most professional and knowledgeable during the research/shopping phase. My wife and I decided to renovate our home all but the kitchen which we did a couple years ago. We added new cabinets and granite and i learned a valuable lesson. I went to Richmond for the simple reason I thought I would save money. Well i did receive a good price but had so many issues when it came to the installation. It was plain and simple a nightmare. The owner wouldn’t return calls and we had our lawyer write a letter to get a response. We went to European Stone in Troy Va and added five new granite tops during this renovation and worked with Glenn and he educated us on the differences in granite and worked within our budget. His prices were more than competitive and his entire staff was more than helpful. I explained to Glenn that I’m hard to please and I expect a professional job. Well folks here is where things get even better his installation crew was simply the BEST. They made modifications on site!! What I mean by this is that my walls were not square but the granite fit like a new suit. I’m not one that writes review although I read then before making a purchase. Bottom line if you are looking for granite there’s many different companies to choose from but the installation is what you see everyday. Guys I’m not connected to European Stone in any way, I just want folks that spend hard earned money to get a professional job. I would send photos but they started refinishing my hardwood floors today. Although the owner of the refinishing company gave a thumbs up

This was my first big interior home remodel and the kitchen counter tops were a very big deal for me. This company was so easy and helpful I almost felt like I was doing something wrong lol. I simply went in with a close measurement of my counter top and went out to looks at some stone and found the one I thought would be perfect for me. A couple out hours later I had a quote emailed to me that was much lower than the big box places I had shopped around at so I called and gave a deposit and 10 days later my counter top was installed. The guys that did the install were very nice and did great work ! I hope the rest of my home repairs go this easy.....

My husband and I love our new granite countertops and sinks. We felt the price for the granite and labor were very reasonable. When we went to Ashland look at slabs, there was one slab behind another we wanted to see. That warehouse wanted us to come back the following week to look at it. But Glen went bat for us and had them move the first slab that very same afternoon. That was the slab we decided upon. Before they would begin cutting the slab, we went down and worked out the template with them to our satisfaction. Everything was done extremely well and in a very timely fashion. One more thing, their team was in constant communication with us. I highly recommend this company.

European Stone Concepts was top notch at every step, from my first visit to the showroom, to the templating appointment, the actual installation, and the final outcome. I was impressed by Glenn’s quick response to my email questions, his can-do attitude to address some specific requests like a tight radius on corners and around the sink, and the overall speed of finishing the project. The attention to detail was also evident during my templating appointment and the installation. Every one on the team took time to listen and it shows in the final result. Glenn and crew, Dianne and I are SOOOOOO happy with our new countertops!!! When the workers left, we just stood there and looked at them and we even got up twice during the night to look again. We were required to critique a completed job where I worked, and I just wanted to say that this has been a great experience. I completed a critique for the guys who built our home 15 years ago since we were so pleased, and we still wouldn't change a thing. They have even sent perspective customers to see our home since we made the offer, and we just want to make this same offer to you. The communication process was positive from start to finish. Ed took the time needed to help us get things started our initial visit. We tentatively selected granite that was on site, but then decided to visit a showroom that was recommended to broaden our horizons. Wendy of Marva in Richmond spent the time needed and answered all of our questions. As it worked out, we selected granite from Marva during a second visit. Following our selection, Phil came to our home to measure and gather information for completion of a template. He made several positive suggestions and even pointed out things such as the existing sink bowl not being exactly centered with the window. The next step involved scheduling an appointment for the work at our home to begin. KK of Express Plumbing called to confirm the plumbing phase, and her husband (Steve) arrived the next morning as scheduled. Steve completed his work and pointed out several improvements that would be made during his return visit to install the sink, faucet, and new piping. The European Stone installation crew (Jose' and Steve) arrived that afternoon, and we welcomed them to our home and showed them the bathroom for use during the work. They did a great job and were conscientious about ensuring quality work. They cleaned the work area before leaving, and Dianne actually hugged them and provided a treat since she was so happy. One thing that I'm really glad we did that I would highly recommend for others is to let you guys do the entire job. My original thought was to remove the existing counter tops myself, buy the sink and faucet from our neighbor who works at a distributor, and use our plumber for the disconnect and installation phases. It was so much easier just to let you do the entire job so that I didn't have to worry about removing/disposing of the counter tops, buying the sink/faucet, and coordinating everything. Our plumber even told us that he would suggest this based on his availability and the reasonable price for the equipment and labor that I shared from the quote. Our original plan was to get estimates from several companies in the area regarding the project. I called a friend for his advice before beginning the project since I knew that he had installed counter tops. He recommended that we go to European Stone Concepts (ESC) and suggested that we go there first. Following our visit, we immediately knew that we didn't need to go anywhere else. Now that the project is complete, our instincts were right and we would HIGHLY recommend ESC to anyone based on our positive experience.

We first met Glenn Laskin of European Stone Concepts when we were planning a major kitchen remodel. This is the third time we’ve had a kitchen completely redone, so please know we are not “novices”— the process can be long, tiring, confusing and hard. Glenn and his team made the countertop selection a walk in the park! The entire process was impeccable and organized. From our first visit and tour of the granite slabs with Glen to the agreement and contract to the install was seamless. The entire team was very organized and the team that did the measuring and fabricating made great suggestions as well so we would have the finish product that we were expecting. Everyone was knowledgeable and professional and with very careful attention during demolition and installation to maintain the existing fixtures and cabinets. They took care of every aspect of the installation ,including sinks and appliance removal and reinstallation-a first class turn key total job at a very reasonable price. My wife and I decided to replace our kitchen and utility room countertops with Granite. Since several friends highly recommended European Stone Concepts, we stopped by their show room, the owner Glenn explained the entire process to us, we sent him photos with approximate dimensions, and he quickly provided us a quote for the entire project. The project turned out great: we were very pleased with his suggested contractor for demolishing the old countertops, his operations team that we dealt with (Phil, Jose, Juan, Steve & Clifford) were awesome and took pride in their work. Glenn's plumber, another Steve, promptly showed up and quickly installed new drains and faucets so our total kitchen downtown was less than 3 days. A few days later, Glenn's service team installed the splash backs and their workmanship including caulking met my exacting standards! Moreover, Glenn was extremely pleasant and professional . We were extremely pleased with our experience with European Stone Concepts. They provided custom granite countertops, shower shelves, and thresholds for our master bath renovation. The service was excellent and, when another contractor accidentally damaged the stone, they quickly saved the day by repairing the damage so it is unnoticeable, and very affordably. Five stars!

Ordered a 5 foot long Travertine dining table top after a 31 year old top cracked. The service was exceptional and the travertine matched perfectly to the base. Installation was a breeze and the delivery team was very good as I live in a 4 floor townhouse with narrow stairways and they delivered to 2nd floor with ease. I would highly recommend.

Everyone involved was very professional and courteous. Our three slab granite kitchen was ordered, measured, fabricated and installed in a timely manner and had us up and running for Thanksgiving dinner!

The owner, Glenn, greeted me right when he saw me. He's energetic and helpful! I was working on a budget trying to update our home and his quote was HALF of what Lowe's Hardware provided. He showed me all of the options and helped me narrow down budget colors based on the flooring and wall description I provided and he found the perfect match. Glenn told me what to expect in terms of time frames, cost, and installation. The person who measured for the template arrived on time and was cordial. He also offered an overhang for the kitchen countertop, which added seating for four in our small kitchen/eat-in area. This really helped maximize our space. Installers were cordial and professional as well. They arrived on time as well and got right to work. The end product is gorgeous and we couldn't be happier. What's best is that the overhang, which Lowes said was not an option for our space, has maximized our usable space in the kitchen/eat-in area. We are so please and will be contacting them again when we update our bathrooms.

This is the second time I used ESC. Both occasions gave me exactly the results I was promised. The measure man was prompt and professional. He noted one problem that could arise and suggested the appropriate correction. The installation crew was also professional and good natured. I was particularly pleased with how well matched the grains were at the necessary joints--joints which are hard to find even knowing where they are.

Truly professional! My new countertop is beautiful and fits like a glove. From chosing the stone to after install clean-up, Glenn and his team performed all tasks beyond reproach. Glenn guided us though his large inventory with outstanding knowledge of his products and without any pressure making our choice comfortable and correct. We recently had new countertops installed by ESC and are very happy with the results. Overall the company was professional, punctual, and courteous. The granite was installed without flaws and looks great. There was an issue with the sealing process but these were resolved to our satisfaction. This company works very hard to keep their customers satisfied and I would gladly use them again in the future.

European Stone Concepts was too easy to work with! Glenn kept in touch over several months before I finally pulled the trigger and decided to install our counters as our back splash. We bought a move in ready home in Crozet, VA, because of this, the kitchen had already been planned out and all the decisions had been made. The only missing piece, once we moved in, was a backsplash. We love our countertops so after looking at tons and tons of tile, over several months, I made the call to Glenn to see what it would cost to just install our counter tops as the backsplash. I was very pleased with the quoted price. I even compared to two other local installers and both were $1500+ over what Glenn quoted me. From start to finish Glenn and his team were great. So easy, so professional. Contacting Glenn was the best decision. We are so very happy with our Cambria Brittanica backsplash! We finally feel as if our kitchen is complete. We hired European Stone Concepts to install granite counter tops in our kitchen and bathrooms in December 2017 and January 2018. The owner, Glenn Laskin’s was wonderful to work with in their sales office for the estimates and sales processes. He was able to answer all of our questions in a timely manner as well. Phil came to complete our templates when scheduled, he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to have the same installer for both of our projects, Jose was absolutely fantastic to work with. He had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. Jose was so pleased with how beautiful our kitchen had turned out, he actually took pictures of the finished product to show others how beautiful this project had turned out. In all of the years of remodeling I have never had an installer take so much pride in their work and then ask permission to take pictures to show them to others. Since we chose a new stone that European had just started carrying for our kitchen, we were naturally nervous and I have to say Glenn did a fantastic job recommending this stone. My husband and I were so pleased with the entire team at European Stone Concepts during these projects. We cannot wait to complete our last two bathroom remodeling projects over the next two months in which European Stone will once again install the new granite vanity tops. We had a fantastic experience with Glenn and European Stone Concepts! His proactivity was instrumental in getting our kitchen renovation project moving...since we were doing much of the work ourselves, we were having a hard time getting a contractor who was willing to come do the small amount of electrical and plumbing that we needed done. Glenn went to bat for us, and within 24 hours of talking with him, we had everything lined up! Our kitchen countertops were installed last week, and we couldn't be happier. The end result is very beautiful. Make sure you're there for the template to answer any questions that may come up. We had an issue with one small piece and Glenn was committed to correcting it when we contacted him directly. We also had Clifton repair our existing kitchen granite and he did a very good job.

European Stone Concepts recently installed a soapstone countertop on a kitchen island for me. I love love the soapstone. It is everything I expected and more. It is so beautiful. It is Alberene soapstone from a quarry in Central Virginia. All of this is good because European Stone Concepts did an excellent job of fabricating the stone and installing it. I happened to be driving by European Stone Concepts and decided to just take a look. Wow...Was I amazed at the selection!! Not only did they have a beautiful granite that matched the woodwork in my home perfectly, I was able to see the exact piece that would be installed in my home, right at their store. With the Chain stores, I was given a small sample and was told that it could vary, and if I wanted to see the actual slab, I'd need to go up to MD. European stone takes pride in every step of their business, beginning from sales to installation and clean up. If you're looking to upgrade your kitchen or bathroom counters or any other stonework, save yourself a lot of time, energy and money and just go directly to European Stone Concepts. You'll be so glad you did, and will love your end result. I know I do!

When we went to European's shop to look at countertops, Glen could not have been more helpful. We had picked out four quartz samples and he explained the pros and cons of each as it related to what we wished to accomplish. Phil came and worked up the template. The installers came and did an excellent job. The countertops are beautiful! We have shared our experience with friends and one couple has already visited European and ordered their countertops. We will definitely return to European if/when the need arises.

After having a hard time picking granite elsewhere we checked out ESC. Glenn helped us envision the final design and, based on us communicating what we were looking for, lead us right to granite options that made the decision process easier and quicker (important out in the hot summer sun). The granite was installed this past week and we are ecstatic with the results. I would definitely use Glenn again and will recommend him to others. Glenn was great to work with. The most difficult part was choosing from the many pieces of granite. When the day came for installation, we were not going to be home. Glenn assured us that was not a problem. He was right. We came home to the completed job with everything perfect. GOOD JOB!

Glenn and his team were amazing to work with. Glenn spent tons of time showing me options for my kitchen counter tops and learning about my tastes in design elements. He allowed me to spend as much time as I needed to carefully consider what would work best for me. That is rare in today's world! For the excellent quality of the materials, the price was downright amazing. The installers worked very hard to make sure that I was happy. I have an older house and let's just say that not everything is perfectly level. They gave me lots of great options to make things look right. They even gave me tips on what not to do on the granite..tips that made me laugh: "Don't use it as a cutting board." Wow, that was hilarious. I will go back to Glenn and his team for more!

I cannot say enough good things about the people at European Stone Concepts. We replaced counter tops as part of a full kitchen renovation, and after visiting several suppliers in the region and trekking to a Richmond stone yard, purchased "Lucky White" granite from ESC. Glenn was incredibly patient, helpful and supportive as we considered a wide range of options before making our decision. Recognizing that judgments based on a small sample of material might be questioned when one views a larger piece, he called when our slab came in to permit us to inspect it before it was cut and treated. But the granite was beautiful. ESC personnel arrived when they said they would for both the measurement for the template and for the installation. The gentlemen who installed our counter tops were exactly that - gentlemen. They were punctual, courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. The counter tops look fantastic. I would recommend ESC to anyone in a heartbeat. In the course of our renovation, contractors have sometimes proven less than reliable, but ESC was a rock of dependability, delivering a quality product when they said they would at a good price. Kudos.

European Stone Concepts provided the kitchen countertops when we built on to our 1930's home 3 years ago. I was looking for something that looked great, was durable and easy to clean, was not your typical granite and grey in color as opposed to black. In short, I was a high maintenance customer! Not a problem for Glenn, who showed me numerous stone and finish options. I ended up getting absolute black in the leathered finish, which meets all my criteria. It looks grey, has some texture and is easy to clean. That was three years ago, and I still love it -- and so do the folks who visit my house who invariably run their hands over the leathered finish and ask what it is! In addition to loving the result, Glenn and his team were professional, easy to work with from my perspective as well as with my general contractor and kitchen cabinet maker/installer.

ESC just provided superb face-lifting on some 10 year old granite countertops in a house I recently bought. This granite was in desperate need of new grout, cleaning, sealing and shining. Glenn sent over a master counter craftsman from his team who really went the extra mile to make this granite look like a new again. How awesome for ESC to provide this capability to bring our counters back to life with such competent and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely work them again. I have worked with ESC on many occasions and am very happy with the results They are extremely knowledgable and helpful and fun to work with , from the initial visit at the stone yard to the template process to final installation. I can't say enough about the uncommon level of service and the outstanding quality of product and craftsmanship that I received from Glenn and his European Stone Concepts team. Not only were his prices the most competitive in the Charlottesville area, but they were also 25% lower than the Northern Virginia fabricators that I visited, whose inventory was of nowhere near the same quality! After having received rushed and inattentive service from other potential fabricators and having met dead end after dead end trying to find the specific stone that I wanted, price was not even my first concern with this project; I was looking for a quality grade of stone that would hold up over time and, most importantly, the personal attention that I needed because the vanity that I designed was not a standard size and was going to be an extremely tight fit in my bathroom. Glenn helped me find the perfect White Macaubas remnant to create a custom vanity countertop for my bathroom renovation. He keeps a surprisingly large and organized inventory, with an absolutely breathtaking selection of exotic slabs as well as affordable remnants; a huge plus was also that he was one of the only fabricators that I contacted who could actually get to the stone easily to send me a photograph before I decided to make the trip to meet with him. Although, relatively speaking, my purchase was not large, in order to get the most countertop space that I could in a small 1950s bathroom without sacrificing my modern design, I ended up requesting several meetings with Glenn, who gave me full access to his team of engineers and fabricators. Tom and Matt sat down with me to go over my drawings and measurements, kindly taking into account the character of my old home and the its limited space without asking me to abandon my design in order to make it easier for them. They patiently created multiple drafts in AutoCAD until the final template met my specifications exactly. They fabricated my countertop flawlessly! The design was so tight that, had any of several measurements been off even 1/8" in the fabrication, I would not have been able to comfortably fit my oversized antique faucet or utilize both my unusually sized sink and my vanity's tilt-out tray that just snugly fit together with a carefully crafted design. Glenn and his team at ESC run their business with an unparalleled focus on customer service and hold themselves to the utmost quality standards at extremely competitive prices, and I couldn't be happier that I found them. Every interaction was truly professional and enjoyable, and I highly recommend and trust the work that they do. I will lastly mention that it is astonishing in this day and age to receive a reply within minutes from a company, much less from its owner/CEO; Glenn was the first person to reply when I reached out to over 25 fabricators in Virginia and was the only one to reply directly by phone, which made communicating my needs much easier and more personal than by email.
