These are "somewhat" custom homes. The quality is not as high as you would get in a true custom home but then you don't pay as high a price as you would if it was truly custom. They skimp n the quality here and there. I have lived in my home for 1 1/2 years. I have trouble opening and closing my sliding glass door. It is difficult to set the alarm. I was told to stick dowels in the slots and get a motion detector. Also my dog peed a small amount on the wood floor and I didn't see it until the next day. Avant refused to repair it saying that it had gone through to "a middle layer" whatever that means so I paid to have it repaired myself even though it was a few months after I moved in and during the 1 year "warranty" period.

High quality homes. Love the design and layouts. Their entire staff focuses on putting a high end home together with no short cuts or missed space to utilized. Love the rooftop patios!
