Our process focuses on the client experience. We work with you from the outset to tailor a team of project leads, managers, designers, and trusted tradesmen to best suited to the unique demands of your project. This helps us develop the healthy builder-client relationship that we've found to be essential to a successful build. Often this relationship will endure long after your project has finished - after nearly 35 years, we now work with many children of past clients. Our projects have been featured in Southern Living, Traditional Homes, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, and R • Homes Magazine. Several projects have been on the Virginia Historical Garden Tour. One of John's developments, Carrington Court, received the annual Preservation Merit Award from Henrico County. John also played a key role in the development of Maple Green in Richmond's Near West End. John has been featured in Remodeling Magazine and was a panelist at their Remodel 500 conference. Most recently, we received the Home Building Association of Richmond's 2019 RARE Award for Best Kitchen over $100,000. John and Tommy Robertson both hold Class A Contractor's Licenses. John received his BA from the University of Virginia and MBA from the Darden School of Business. Tommy is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and Washington and Lee School of Law.
