Kevin and Vivian Szczepankowski have been helping people create beautiful and innovative homes throughout northern California since 2003. Vivian's intuitive understanding of her clients' needs, creative ability to blend architectural styles, extensive knowledge of the Asian art of Feng Shui, and her artist's eye, all help to give her an uncanny ability to come up with the perfect solution for every client's design. Kevin's ensures smooth coordination of the drafting, engineering, HOA and planning requirements for their clients. He also works closely with their builders to ensure the smooth transition from design to execution of every detail for each project. Their work has been featured throughout the greater Sacramento Metropolitan region including the communities of Winchester, Los Lagos, Shelborne, Dark Horse, Serano, Lake Forest, Wexford, and Catta Verdera, as well as Lake Tahoe, Carson City, and the San Francisco Bay area. Background: Vivian earned her B.A. in interior design at Brigham Young University in 1983, then moved back to the Sacramento area, where she had grown up. She went on to illustrate most of the homes built in the area for the next 20 years. During this time, architects and building designers started coming to her with their design challenges and she would always find a way to help solve them. She became know to some as "The House Whisperer." In 2003, she began designing remodels and custom homes for clients, with full architectural and drafting services. Her work has been featured throughout the greater Sacramento metropolitan region, including the communities of Winchester, Los Lagos, Shelborne, Dark Horse, Serano, Lake Forest, Wexford, and Catta Verdera, as well as Lake Tahoe, Carson City, and the San Francisco Bay area. Kevin earned his his B.S. in Engineering from Brigham Young University in 1993. His work in CAD and engineering background gave him a natural segway into coordinating the design and drafting process for Vivian's clients.
