I am extremely disappointed with Galo Verdesoto. I'm disappointed because his profile states that he specializes in design. In my opinion, he is not an open minded thinker and tends to be controlling. He doesn't welcome the customers' vision and perspective with ease. Galo V. demonstrates very micromanaging traits that were not aligned with the design plan.

Galo helped me on three refurbishment projects. The total budget ranged from 100,000 to 500,000. The properties were done masterfully with all attention to detail. The project management was exceptional. The homes were all featured in magazines post completion. The improvements were durable and held up to time, young children and changing design sensibilities. I would recommend him without reservation.

Galo is the consummate professional and an absolute pleasure to work with! I retained him to completely reimagine and gut renovate my 3 bed 3 bath Manhattan condo and I am as excited to live here as when the project was completed. All who have visited our home tell us how beautiful it is. His designs and the quality of workmanship have withstood the test of time. Elegant, restrained, efficient use of space, beautiful finishes and workmanship are hallmarks of Galo's work. His knowledge, attention to detail, interface with tradespeople, follow up and customer care are without compromise. My collaboration with him was a truly gratifying experience and I most enthusiastically and without hesitation recommend Galo!

I first learned of Galo Verdesoto while working in real estate. I had the opportunity to see two of his finished renovations and fell in love with both! I told myself that if I ever did decide to renovate my condominium, that it would be a dream to work with Galo as my architectural designer. Galo and I met to discuss the project and I immediately knew we’d get along. Galo seemed to understand my vision, and already the wheels were turning. He has superb taste but is also realistic when putting a budget together for the project. We were on the same page the entire way through, and he was always honest and never pushy. Galo also works with an extremely dedicated general contractor who is surrounded by a team of superbly talented workers who pay incredible attention to detail and always left the apartment neat and orderly at the end of the day. Galo is bright, understanding, incredibly devoted, organized … and he’s charismatic and will even make you laugh! Galo has become a friend and I would recommend him above anyone else for any potential project. He followed through on all he promised and far exceeded my expectations. I am truly now living in my dream apartment … and it’s great to be able to call it home!”

Galo Verdesoto was the architect for a client of mine whose apartment I was selling. There is no doubt that the caliber of his work and his aesthetic sensibility was the reason for the enormous interest in the apartment and the reason the property received a premium price. I was so impressed with his work that I have since referred him to multiple clients who have been equally impressed with his work. He’s a true talent.

He listens carefully and comes with no preconceived notions of how things “have to be.” That said he does not shy aware from advising where he sees the client may be going off track. He works with professionals who are as committed to perfection as he is. He is creative, a problem solver, and delivers on all his commitments. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Galo did a terrific job taking my initial thoughts regarding changes to my apartment and turning it into a truly first class transformation. We ended up doing a gut renovation of my 2 bedroom condo. I used contractors he recommended, and the project was effectively on time and on budget. His vision added important touches that made the difference between mere improvements and a renovation that turned the space into a showpiece. It is not enough to just have some ideas and hire your own contractor. It is better to hire someone who has a vision and can manage the project for you.

I have worked with Galo on many contemporary design project over the last 10 years, as B&B Italia furniture vendor in New York. Galo has an amazing taste and an in depth professional experience and can design very beautiful interiors. It has been a pleasure providing our B&B Italia furniture to his projects over the years.
